Good evenning , My son is 6 years old and he has a boy of 7 years old as his friend in our compound .We live in a flat and the kids play in the compound . The first ball I bought for my son was spoilt by this boy (my son friend ).That was a felele ball(as we call it in Yoruba language ) and I wasn’t happy about it but the ball lasted for almost three months .So,I wasn’t angry .Two weeks ago ,this same boy beat my son (I met him crying outside )and I had to tell him they are almost age mates that if he beat him ,he should reciprocate and deal with him by giving him heavy blow that he will not be able to defend . Just two days ago ,I bought this ball we called HEALTH for my son at the cost of 3,500.I was not having much that day but because I promised him the ball if he improve in his home lesson which his Aunty told me he is improving very fast .I got a home teacher for him when I saw his report card that he is intelligent but slow in reading and writing(his result was so good ) To cut the long story short ,my wife went to fix her hair and I have to monitor him closely at the compound playing the ball with the boy and his sister .I warned all of them not to play long shot and also to avoid playing high ball cos there is a bush outside our fence . After warning them ,I went in to take a nap but I wasn’t hearing any noise outside again and I have to go out to confirm what was wrong and I find out this same boy have played the ball above the roof to the bush .We searched and couldn’t find the ball .I just concluded the boy was doing this deliberately cos he was just laughing to aggravate my anger . I was mad and told my son never to play with the boy again and that I will never like to see the two of them together again .The reason I said this is not far from the fact that I find out my son is so generous with his things .He always want to share everything with his friends in the compound and school .From his tablet ,bicycle and balls .He will even ask me so many times he want his friends to play games on his tab or watch cartoons .On a scale of 10,he will always be with them outside our flats on 7/10 when he demand . One thing I didn’t learn early in life is to avoid those friends /families that you are always nice to but reciprocate with bad attitudes or that can even go extra length to make you cry despite your kindness and generosity to them .This is what I am trying to build into my son but I have to think very well and that’s why I want to ask if he is too young to avoid such friends or am I making sense or I am overacting ? This is because my life would have been better if I have avoided lot of people in my life but now I can’t even avoid them for some reasons beyond control . |

God saved you from the damage your irresponsibility wants to cost your son. Don't you know that shot with Health ball can kill children ? So, because you do not want a ball that can easily burst so you don't buy anyone is why you went to buy a weapon that can endanger your son abi ? It is God that helped you keep that ball stuck to preserve the life of all the children in your environment. You are reckless, an extremely reckless person |

edoncast:If your son is slow to learning, you can embrace Montessori Schools for him. I have taught kids like that and after a while, they became top class among their pairs. You may consider having another child, so your kids can play board games indoors to shield them from negative influences from other badly trained kids. And no, you are not exaggerating or crazy, it's your inner guts telling something bad about those kids that they have not fully manifested yet |

edoncast:Do not listen to that person. A sibling will further add to the stress for you and your wife. |
