I worked in one of the top organisations in Nigeria for 2 years. A percentage of my salary was deducted monthly but was never remitted to my NHF account.

Fee months to my resignation, I'd contacted HR on this with no response.

It's been over 6 months since my resignation and fund is still not credited and the HR is not responding to my emails.

Can I sue?

Even if for a Kobo. That's how they keep stealing. How I wish the Courts were still the last hope of the common man.

I can relate with this. However, most Nigerian employees have the same issue with NHF remittances. Dont be surprised it has been remitted and NHF worrisome IT system has not posted it to your account. Many employers face this challenge nationwide. I will advice you first go to the NHF office in your state and ask them about your Employer's account with NHF

Instead, why not call out the company name on social media? If they have handles, tag them and tell your better story about the company.

Do you have the NHF number already? The HR might be having issues with NHF in registering employees. Same issue I have in my company, we remit in bulk every month but yet to send mail to NHF to credit each employee.
Alternatively,
For me, I will advice you take the following steps.
(1) Physically visit the company and talk with the HR to know reasons for the non remittance.
(2) You can send a mail to NHF or physically visit their office if number 1 doesn't bear the desired result

Last week a student of a Federal University of Agriculture was bitten by a dog. They rushed him to the School's clinic only to be told they don't have anti rabies injection to administer to him. They should bring him back on Monday, today. Imagine a drug that must be administered within 24hours but the Medical Centre gave them over 72hours.

This is a school that have a college of Veterinary Medicine o?
