Federal Government To Seize French And British Assets In Nigeria. by critique99(op):
The Federal Government would do well to seize Billion dollar assets belonging to Britain and France, as collateral for Nigeria's assets in litigation in their countries. The target for seizure include Air France and British Airways aeroplanes, multinational companies, assets and investments worth Billions of dollars.

The British courts, by granting stupid orders against nations, have set a dangerous precedence. It is a very dangerous precedent set by British courts ordering seizure of a country's assets. And the world must be very careful.

Now the French courts have followed suit in seizing presidential assets, and the danger here is that Established Diplomatic Protocols would start CRUMBLING. Who told French judges that presidential aircrafts are seizable. It is a joke and an abuse of established international protocols to to even grant such an order. And the Judges must be very careful. The blame rests with British courts for establishing bad precedence that would damage existing Diplomatic principles.

We warn that African countries have no significant assets abroad. It is Europe that has assets and investments in Africa. The French and British authorities would do well to tread with absolute caution, because they stand to LOSE more in the asset seizure game. We would seize everything both private and government that they own in Nigeria, and seize more across Africa We are not worried, we are just looking at their stupidity.

Let this serve as a warning to foreign courts and judges to STOP granting stupid orders that violate established diplomatic principles. They need to STOP, else their countries would lose more. They have more assets here, we have nothing over there. Foreign Judges must STOP damaging established diplomatic principles. How can a judge grant an order against presidential jets. This is very bad precedence. We are warning foreign courts and judges to STOP their madness. They have more to lose.

The government should be able to articulate their position on this issue.

The Nigeria government should also be ready to face the consequences if they go ahead with the seizure of the foreign countries assets

Retaliation is conventional in international diplomacy.

Embassies of Zulum and France should be locked while their ambassadors deported from Nigeria.

We should do the aforementioned to show that we are Nigerians and the true giants of Africa.

We don’t have anything to loose if this war begins.

Seizing another country’s presidential plane in your country is synonymous to helping the president hostage.

And war in this regard doesn’t mean military but diplomatic.

If you can seize a presidential aircraft, logically, you should be able to seize an embassy too na.This is a bad precedent if it’s successful.

See cowards talking abeg!

A Chinese company took your government to court and later demanded the seizure of assets belonging to Nigeria as payment for outstanding debts owed by Nigeria. What should the courts have done? Not granted the company what it rightfully earned under the international agreement between Nigeria and China? Why are you not instead demanding for Chinese assets in Nigeria to be ceased? Nonsense! undecided
