Igbos Have Suffered In Nigeria by Tunde835(op): 8:08am On Aug 19, 2024
It's only the Igbos that have barely ruled Nigeria since inception apart from Nmandi azikiwe or some coups here and there
Since 1999 till present the Igbos don't stand a chance for presidency
Even the 2023 election they were expecting to win.
Tinubu snatched it away from their so called Messiah
Yorubas have ruled two full terms twice and a vice presidency while Igbos have nothing.
It's Yoruba and Hausa that are dragging to rule this country exchanging at the driver's wheel at the front of the car while the rest stay at the back of the car

May be it's time for the Igbo's themselves to start reflecting on how they have been playing their own politics in Nigeria to have been relegated even for being one of the majority tribes

Taking responsibility instead of pointing fingers could turn things around

Ironically, the people suffering are the same people ruling.

Go to Ogun state u will find out why almost every households are into rituals.

Lagos,u see especially Ikorodu and other suburbs, cultists whose lives have been dented and battered with nothing to show for it.

For Northerners, they use politics to cause more harm for their people by enriching the elite among them. The poor is made poor with religion and the rich marry from the rich. E.g Elrufai's son is married to an igbo girl. Why Ajumobi's son married Ganduje's daughter.

You people together with yorubas and Hausas are all mad. You think Nigeria exists around you guys. Today yorubas this, tomorrow, Hausas that and the next is Igbos had never rules Nigeria. We have more than a hundred different tribes and ethnicity in the country. No one is more Nigeria than the other. My tribe and a lot of other tribes have never even held the position of minister talk more of speaker, senate president, Vp or president. Lots of other tribes in the Niger delta, north central, South South and north east can understand what I am saying. Get the Bleep out with your selfish Yoruba, Hausa and Igbos fuckery, you three are the downfall of this country, self centered, selfish, lunatics and babaric. Fucking idiots

An Igbo man was the second person to rule this country. In fact that Igbo man tasted power 12 clear years before any other Southerner got the opportunity. Even the next Southerner to clinch power is very likely to be an Igbo man genetically, and the same genetically possible Igbo man once again ruled in this democracy. The people who have really suffered in this country are the Southern minorities who never tasted presidency except through an accidental means which is not likely to come their way again.

The Yorubas and hausas value the ego of becoming president of Nigeria than the development of Nigeria itself na die una deyq,we may never rule Nigeria but we will excel in other fields you will continue to hear Igbo names achieve great feats in Nigeria and abroad.
Re: Igbos Have Suffered In Nigeria by Bitterkola100: 9:16am On Aug 19, 2024
Except time and tide favors you, its a serious political game before anyone becomes a president of nigeria.

Don't make it seem like it's gotten on a platter of gold, the buhari that later became a president contested four times, before he became a president, atiku has contested 6 times and about to go for the 7th time and if he eventually wins you will say the baton is being passed to him.

Since 2007, tinubu has been very intentional about being the president and he has done serious politicking to that effect over the years and he eventually got it.

Even obj had to rig before ya radua become a president.
After the death of ya radua it was one hell of Bickering before Jonathan could become the president for what could have been a naturally smooth ascension as the constitution and nature demands.

It was during those times the infamous save Nigeria group was formed.
My point is, since 1999 no south eastern candidate has put in so much effort and energy to becoming the president.

Except for Peter obi that just came into the fray, if obi plays his cards well, mostly in the north which he is already playing he stands a chance of becoming the president.
The south east has the advantage of being one of fhe three major tribes in Nigeria, they should utilize it politically.
Na we the "minorities" even dey more neglected.

Nah it's actually Yoruba and Hausa. And yes Nigeria does revolve around us. You minority tribes along with Igbos are irrelevant and would never rule this same country you are a part of. It's actually a Yoruba and Hausa country you're just living in it.

Yoruba and Fulani should continue to rule Nigeria while Igbo stand no chance, but remember who people are complaining more of hunger the most in Nigeria? Igbo don't care who is the president not vice president, all Igbo man want is good economy to do his business. Yet people in government use bad government policies to destroy the economy

So it's safe to say that those tribes ruling are the ones that have destroyed the country with archaic and incompetent style of governance.
All they know is to play dirty politics and propaganda spiced with bigotry/tribalism.

Igbos will continue suffer as you said, but God will continue blessing them in their suffering that they will continue buying up your land, including your father's grave.

If you don't sell it to them, your son will.

Is just matter of time
