The annoying part to this is that, they have governor, local government chairman, state assembly member, federal house of representative and they have senator representing that particular LGA. In my book, Peter Obi is not different from the Tinubu we have today. Obi too had a chance to prove himself different from all of the others. It's been 25 years and about 100 billion dollars down the drain at this point and Nigerians are still without the following basic amenities. Peter Obi was governor of Anambra State for a whole 7 years at least and in all that time, not even the people in his own LGA or hometown could boast of having any of the following installed on their behalf.
■ Electricity
■ Clean Water Supply
■ Sewage
■ Good Roads(roads built by the ancient Romans thousands of years ago are still very much available to this day)
■ Passenger Rail
■ Security
■ Reliable internet and mobile services
■ Waste Management
■ Strong healthcare system
■sturdy educational & training System
■a Welfare/Social system...

If that man had, in the 7 years he served as governor of Anambra State, set up a decent working Water purification plant in one of the many LGAs in the state and had clean drinking water supplied to even 1/10th of the population in the LGA, he would have maybe set himself apart from all the other Kakistocrats Nigeria has had in the last 25 years. But he did absolutely none of that. He is, after all is said and done, just another kakistocrat. 🤔

APC government doesn’t know that government provides treated portable water to citizens.

These people now complaining have been voting APC because of Islam. They will do same many years to come. Religion is like opium.

I did NYSC there in 2001 and the water situation was like that

We only used alum to purify the water and got clean water from the Yauri General Hospital in the early morning or evening

The governor then was Adamu Aliero and the Chairman was one Mallam Doggo or Daggo who spent heavily on exotic cars and rides

23 year later, l can't believe the situation has not changed

We should all castigate him because what he is doing is all in an attempt to buy votes from the people.
