What you can sensibly say is you don't believe in God as portrayed by Christianity, Islam or any other religion.

But certainly there is an ENTITY [person(s), force(s), phenomenon(s)] behind this Life, Existence & Nature & all the laws of the Universe.

What Religion does is to keep things simple by calling that ENTITY, God.

And anything you cannot scientifically or empirically prove, takes you to the realm of Beliefs & Religion.

Matter of fact, every human being believes in something, including Atheists who believe there is no God, because they can't prove it.
Even your statement "I don't think..." is a belief.

In all, whether you are a Christian or Muslim or whatever is by choice to keep things simple. &it's done in faith (what you can't see or scientifically prove).

You have said it all. I told a woman that I don't care about Christianity, Muslim or whatever form it may be or names they call but I surely believe in a creator that made my existence.

People should stop castigating and just live simple live of trusting on your creator. I believe my creator and have a separate name I call him.

Or believe in themselves and use their powers to do all that want to do eg give themdelves jobs and food, heal themselves when weak and sick, make rain fall when it is too hot,make their sex selling wives faithful etc. After all they have power and the world is their own, so no problem.

And they do not need to disturb us with their cries of failures and lamentations of desperation.

Good. So we evolved from some great apes, who in turn evolved from some lower forms. I don't know how we started existing.
Now the problem of creationism is this. It doesn't take cognizance of evolution. All creationist accounts says humans were created, not evolved. Also creationism still doesn't solve the puzzle if how we came. It basically says a god popped outta thin air, snapped its/his/her/their finger and humans popped outta thin air. The Christian version says males were made from mud. And mud came from…. thin air. And females came from ribs.
So you see the problem here
