The only negativits we have currently in this country is Tinubu, those working with him, his supporters and paid agents.

Tinubu said that he inherited a dead economy.

Can a dead economy afford a new aircraft?

When we say Tinubu is inept, reckless and insensitive to the plights of Nigerians some moronic numkskulls we call us names.
How do you purchase a 150 billion aircraft for your personal use in a country where millions of the citizens cannot afford 1 decent meal in a day
The $100million (N150billion) price tag dubiously bandied about by the presidential spokesperson is just the face value. After acquiring such luxurious jets, it's standard practice to reconfigure it to desired style and taste.

I can bet my last dime an additional $20-50 million dollars was spent in reconfiguring that aircraft before delivering it to Nigeria. Actual cost of that jet should be in the range of N200-250billion.

Nigeria has some of the most insensitive leaders in the world, and of course some of the most foolish followers. A look around this thread and you'd see some foolish followers who cant afford danfo fare defending such wasteful expense.

The Air Force 1 is not a 34 year old plane and that US Air Force 1 will buy 20 PCs of the Nigerian Air Force 1.
After all the newly acquired aircraft is not PBAT property bcs he is not taking it with him out of the officeundecided
US can afford the Air force 1 with a GDP more than 60 times Nigeria's GDP. And budget revenues more than 100 times Nigeria's.
We really need to be cutting our cloth accordingly.

Answer the question!

Why Nigeria buying new aircraft barely 19yrs old,and yet a powerful nation like America still uses its 34yrs Presidential Jet?

Waiting!
I don't usually answer questions like this but you may truly not be aware which shouldn't be because you have internet.

America president uses their Air Force jets and they have 5,217 active aircrafts. However, they have two specially made aircrafts named "Air Force One" which their president uses when traveling far distance that cost them approx. $5 billion each as at that time. Till now, I'm not sure the entire west African countries leaders have spent a combined total of such amount on their aircrafts. Additionally, Air Force One was built to last nothing less than a century.
So stop comparing our baby aircrafts to American Air Force One like the OP. Nigeria 10 years annual budgets cannot purchase one.

FYI : Nigeria can afford it and I don't think this should be a problem because our GDP is 100x the price of that plane and it's not a personal property.

Well, you can say that but the reality is - money would be better spent building infrastructure that would benefit many more at the moment. I don't really see the benefits of the Nigerian president having his own jet at this time. It costs a lot to maintain.
If for anything, it'll be good to show that government is serious about cutting unnecessary costs.

We have no pipe borne water, poor education, inadequate power, many problems. Nigerian president could do without this jet for now.

Someone bought a Rolls Royce vehicle another bought a Toyota Corolla..

Where is the comparison?!
The Rolls can last a Hundred year while the Japanese car?! haaaa.

US President is using a Rolls Royce of Aircraft.
Air Force 1 Aircraft is not a mate of Boeing.
Boeing produces Air Force one. I know the comparison is irrelevant because I read thr truth from Reno Omokri.

There is nothing irrelevant about the comparison. Nigeria and the US operate same system of govt, and the US is the standard every developing nations wishes to emulate.
Comparing our govt to the US govt doesn't take anything away from our sovereignty
