The truth is train is best for long distance journeys, train just like planes are best for long distance air travel, so how can you say bye bye to cars because of train?

Can train take you to your gate or door step?
This has to be the dumbest interpretation and comprehension of the news!! do you have gammon for brains? Shiiit, how can anyone be this mindblowingly dumb 🤯

So why the statement bye bye to cars?
Have you been to Lagos, most household have more cars than humans, the present of a comfortable, luxurious train will reduce the amount of cars on the road.

For traders who shuttle between Amuwo, FESTAC, Trade Fair and Idumota, I wonder why they put their cars on the road when a cheaper and convenient alternative is always available. It is the same for bank and other workers. After your wonderful article, you just spoil it with this. If idumota, trade fair trader enter the train, where will the train drop him, leventis abi? Now he will trek from leventis to idumota abi? What happens to when he enters danfo and it will drop him at idumota under bridge and he will run walk into his shop. I love that blue train very well though, but state government should please help okoko people to achieve green line. May Lagos state succeed
Is there anything wrong in trekking that short distance or enter keke or korope

That's why I asked would the train still take them to their houses?

The Lagos Rail Revolution is an enviable feat. Although several major cities have been enjoying such transport system many years before now it is a commendable feat.

I wonder why Delta State with our Huge allocation cannot do something like this.

Even the Uduaghan Bus that helped masses those days have all been converted to Agofure bus
Same you , campaigned for same political party which has kept Delta state in bondage since 1999.

By now Delta state supposes to have come with their intra sate rail system when you compare the state allocation with that of lagos,

Delta can not talk of intra state bus system talkless of mono rail.

Practically nothing is working in that state

So someone will treck from the train station that is at mile 2 to his house at Agege?

Or use the same bike that has been banned by the same Lagos state government?

You guys are funny....

This is why they hate Tinubu and want him out of the way. They have seen the development his leadership brought to Lagos and are envious of Lagos. Atiku and Obi are hell bent on impeding the progress.

18 minutes still too long to wait for a train
That's the maximum travel time between mile 2 and Marina. That's fair enough.
With about 5 stops, it means less than 4mins average waiting time

I’m not defending the Delta State Government but development is meant to be organic. Delta state has a huge land mass so such infrastructure isn’t really needed. At least this current administration in Delta State is doing well in terms of road infrastructure.

Have you seen the massive construction going on around PTI junction recently?

This is commendable, Cross Rivers State governor take a cue from this and not trying to build a train going to the North, that is the job of the federal government, build a train service connecting major cities in Cross Rivers first.

Till you show me people in Nigeria or Lagos that ride their bicycles to the train station, park it, used the train and come back to take it and go back to their houses then your statement is thrash and nonsense about the comparison with other countries that practice it....

What has the government put in place to enable such convenience?

You think people don't want to do it here?

You guys just come out and talk nonsense to defend nonsense government...
The Bike and the car they park at the stations are they free?
