A political party of all the 20 northern states can easily win presidential election in Nigeria due to the political structure of Nigeria created by northern military dictators.
A presidential candidate needs to win 25% of votes in 24 states.

A former Deputy governor of one of the states in the southwest warned Tinubu in 2022 that if Tinubu fails to restructure Nigeria politically before 2027, Tinubu will be a victim of Nigeria's roguish political structure and governance system. After that, the Patriots also asked Tinubu to restructure Nigeria.
Tinubu said he is after the Economy first. He has not amassed enough wealth for himself from the economy.

I'm not a fan of Tinubu, But in this one, I will advise him to make this group of people gathering here, labour in vain
It's only when it comes to elections and power you see them gathering and they are the problem of both the North and Nigeria.
They ganged up against Jonathan, they are gathering again against Tinubu.
My only regret in this matter is that Tinubu who joined them in ganging up against Jonathan,is the one in power now.

There has always been grouping and regrouping. Even when Buhari came to power, some of those people mentioned in this so called League of Northern Nigeria formed themselves as northern elders to oppose Buhari government for reasons only known to themselves. Secondly, if you closely look at the names in the group, you will see that almost all of them opposed Tinubu's presidential candidacy and therefore this their regrouping is just a rebranding of their earlier failed opposition to him, if at all that still constitutes their aim and objective for the formation of the new group.. thirdly, that Shekarau, the group leader has been a failed politician in the recent past is a well known public fact, and therefore it is not surprising that he wants to bring his friends together and probably some unsuspecting fox of the current administration to relaunch his political carrier comes 2027. But this attempt and method to bargain for power is already a failed mission as far as his traditional opponents and political nightmares like the kwonkwoso, Ganduje Atiku, etc are concerned. Shekarau became a political orphan in the north the day he publicly started antagonizing Buhari who helped him into political prominence. He thought he had arrived and could lock horns with Buhari. Even a more popular Kwonkwoso has been very careful in his ways of dealing with Buhari in public not to jeopardize his political prowess in the region. The only politicians in the north today that are capable and could caused Tinubu his seat are people like El-Rufai, Atiku, kwonkwoso coming together, but not a paper weight politician like Shekarau and a disgruntled s self style elder Yakassai.
