Have You Gotten A Job On Indeed by Pojomojo(op): 5:07pm On Aug 21, 2024

Often times I hear people say that indeed is one of the best places to land a job especially for people in the tech/teaching and finance industry.

However, I have never heard of Nairalanders landing jobs through indeed. So I will like to ask, has anyone gotten a job through indeed?

Yeah. One customer care job and one teaching job. I applied on indeed, was in invited for interview and was later told to resume.

I however didn't take both offer.

The first one, customer care position required night shift, getting home late at night and leaving very early in the morning. My location wasn't that close to the place. Also, the area wasn't safe at night. I couldn't risk that much for a job that doesn't pay much. So, i let it slide.

The second one, before they called me to resume, I already secure another job.

You obviously can land a well paying job there. But you will have to be careful using the site. Some scammers and GNLD people do visit the site to copy your details and send you fake interview invite. When they do, the will send it to you via message or WhatsApp contact. All you need to do is to scrutinize each post before applying and invite before going for the interview.
