Sccarrr:^^^ We may chuckle about this but believe me, you wouldn't wish this kidnapping thing on your worst enemy. It is a journey to hell. |

ibechris:^^^ ![]() Sadly, it is a question that is unavoidable. While some of those posters are treating the matter as a crude joke it is anything but that. Violation of kidnap victims has been a constant (if undiscussed) part of this kidnap epidemic right from when it began a few years ago. It is there and it is real. Sexual violence is routinely visited on both male and female captives - as part of a general de-humanization 'program'. The videos online showing the victims of the train abduction (of a few years ago) being repeatedly flogged shows a small glimpse of the violence and degradation these kidnap victims suffer. The stories of the sexual violence experienced by victims is (understandably) usually carefully hidden from an uncaring, insensitive general public. But the rape and sexual violence is there. There is a lot that the general public is unaware of. For example, there is a thriving 'secondary market' for kidnap victims in which victims are traded among kidnap/bandit/terrorist gangs at a discount or at a premium. That's how victims sometimes pass through several gangs before they are eventually freed - if they are fortunate enough to eventually taste freedom (after ransom has been paid of course). Or...if they are unfortunate, they are never seen alive again. Being kidnapped on Nigeria's highways is a journey into hell. |

Let them have the camping experience in their state or wherever they chose to be, the camp is the hallmark of service as a corp member. |

It's how all of them are from Akwa Ibom with no non-indigene in their midst that marvels me. In a multicultural and diverse South Nigeria. Anyway, thank God for their freedom. Let them get their allowance. |
