mrvitalis:Useless thought... With the Revenue the government have, what are they doing with it? More tax = more money in the looters' accounts. I don't listen to secular music, neither do I follow this guy, but judging from my knowledge of government, I can attest that truly, Nigeria was never meant to exist, it is just business gone wrong and nothing can change it with the way it is going |

You are correct but the people that found themselves together should have reasoned well and worked together for a better union instead the north and south west decided to enslave the rest with all manners of propaganda and lies which is why the union is not working well |

Kobojunkieee:Those countries you mentioned are not as ethnoreligiously and culturally divided and diverse as Nigeria. There's no country in this world that's as divided as Nigeria in all spheres of life. There's nothing the Igbos, yorubas and Fulanis have in common, not even the physical anatomy/appearance. An Indian from southern India looks exactly like the one from northern India to an outsider, share the same historical background, speak the same language, share same culture, food, clothing style and have a high chance of being members of the dominant religion. Such things are not applicable to Nigeria. If the divisions and diversity were not already there naturally, how would the politicians exploit them? |

spiSeyi:continue fooling around with half- baked opinions. Tribal differences is not a divisive factor. Infact ethnic differences which is stronger than that of tribe is not much a cause of division. The major problem is conflicting value systems which consist different ethnic, religious, historical and economic worldviews. All countries that started without having a dominant value system have disintegrated remaining Nigeria. Even China you're quoting is worried about it's minority Uighur Muslims having a seperate value system from the rest of China. US do not have divergent value systems but people of different backgrounds migrating into a single American Identity and shared values of capitalism, Christianity and democracy. Nigeria has no single value system. The drag among the ethnoreligious groups to impose a dominant value system will prove fatal and lead to seperation. |

richiemcgold:Nnamdi Kanu is the solution. He will negotiate for indigenous people, so that power will return back to the people. Nigeria is destined for destruction. You will know what I'm saying if you know the geopolitics being played in the world. We are actually at the end time. GenZ are the last generation of this Age |

Marvieduke:The full name was " The Area around the River Niger" Many people don't know this but that Royal Niger company (RNC) was owned by a man named Sir Taubman George Goldie He is the True father of Nigeria, he is the one who Named this place as Nigeria and not Flora Shaw. It was this Man that mapped out the plans on how to conquer the North, Lugard only followed the plans Goldie have already laid out. It was this same Man that advised the British crown to amalgamate the two Protectorates into one single entity. And he never believed that the Southern and Northern Protectorates would ever work as one country , here is what he said in one of his journals " the northern Protectorate and Southern Protectorate are as widely separated in laws, government, customs, and general ideas about life, both in this world and next, as England is from China" But amalgamation has to happen anyway because the Northern Nigeria ( the Southern Nigeria and Northern Nigeria were actually in all intents and purposes two separate countries with similar sounding names) were running on a deficit and were relying on non-refundable grants by the crown to barely keep afloat. |
