Your Religion Has To Place You Up! by felaismyhero(op): 11:37am On Aug 24, 2024
Greatness comes from being proud. You have to believe that you are special, smarter, better than everyone else. Germany was able to rise through hail of reparations and grow into an industrial giant before WWII because its people believed that they were superior to everyone.

Often times, motivation for greatness comes from believing that God has made you superior to others; simply put, from religion. All through history, battles that supposedly have God's backing never suffer for lack of volunteers: for instance, wars to reclaim a holy Land or to deal with a sinful nation. Usually, they result in victory for the ’Lord's army'.

One of the greatest harms of colonization and slave trade across Africa was the acceptance of foreign Gods/religions by the African. Acceptance of alien gods that can not motivate him for greatness. It was psychological warfare by the Europeans/Arabians at its best; so effective that Africa and her people still struggle to find their feet in the world.

The first book of the Bible tells the story of Noah, who is said to have restarted humanity after a flood. Ham, the putative ancestor of black people, was cursed by his drunk father, Noah, for observing the latter's unclothedness and not taking action. Ham and his descendants are to serve his brothers, Shem and Japhet and their ‘children'. Apart from the fact that the whole story seems contrived to justify enslavement of Africans, we find later that Isrealites - children of Shem - become slaves to Egyptians - children of Ham. How can a book with a tale like this motivate black people to greatness? This is aptly the book any non-black nation needs to justify enslaving blacks, and it has once well served that purpose!

The Bible and the Quran are books for Europeans/Jews and Arabians respectively. When they fall or fail, these books reminds them that greatness is within them, not the black man! “This is just nonsense conjectures; I am a muslim and an African and we can achieve greatness", you say. False! Greatness is a thing of the mind. African muslims and christians accept that Mecca, Rome and Jerusalem are holy lands, but what of the villages and towns where they are born?

No, their villages/towns are cursed lands filled with witches, wizards and all kinds of scary demons that they fear to visit; ‘village people' is the parlance now. These beliefs were perpetuated by Christianity and Islam in a bid to displace the traditional beliefs; but it has resulted in the self-hate so prevalent among blacks today. Our elderly who were formerly revered as repertoires of wisdom have become night flying monsters and obstacles who obstruct their children's progress; what an irony!

Believe it or not Africans, this is the reason why your politicians (and most of you) would rather go on pilgrimage to Mecca or Jerusalem than develop your town; what kind of progress can happen in a demonic land? She(the politician or most Africans) cannot imagine that her town can ever reach the status of Dubai or Paris, so she thinks small projects like boreholes. A people with a religion that places them up can't play second fiddle for long: the rise of Arabian nations; the continued presence of Isreal in the middle east despite its hostile neighbors; Germany's quick rise years after her loss in WWI. Africa is playing second fiddle to the rest of the world because it can not find a source of motivation for greatness; a tome depicting exploits of great black men inspired by Providence!

The solution may not be going back to the Old religion as it were; a mix of the old and the new religions may suffice as it did in Japan where a few christian ideas were syncretized with Shintoism. Adopting the Ethiopian Bible which has images of dark skinned characters will also not be a bad idea. But more importantly, we need stories of great african civilizations that once had: efficient social systems, educational systems that were unrivalled anywhere in the world, militaries that conquered other races, and believe that we their offsprings can replicate them. The stories could be fabrications or based on ancient African, Nubian or Egyptian legends; old Nazi Germany was basically trying to recreate Atlantis-a likely mythical paradise domiciled by blond superhumans, but Hitler and his companions believe it and convinced the German people. The tales capable of arousing the African to transform his story are lacking in his contemporary religion; so he must alter his religion to change his-story!

Where does the Bible teach that Ham was the ancestor of black people?

Felder remarks that European thinkers in the 15th century initially explained the existence of the dark-skinned people of Africa within the biblical framework that reified and justified the subservient status of Africans.50 Cohn also points out that black Africans descended from one of Noah's sons, Ham, whom Noah had cursed because of a minor transgression committed after the flood.

I got this from Google. I'll work to get you more proof; I'm learning to post here.

Where in the bible did you and these European thinkers come to the conclusion that Ham is the ancestor of the human black race?

Forget about ham.

Why are there some many child abusers, rapists and groomers in your organisation?
