Immediately that second goal was cancelled, I knew there would be trouble. They should have done better with the ball. This is not a good way to start the season. In the first half, Brighton didn't play much and united were expected to take the initiative. Suddenly in the second half, ETH decided to remove fernandes and put Mctominay. Maguire was already having a good game and thus the substitution wasn't a good one. They still have to do a lot concerning creativity in the final third of the pitch. Dropping three points at this time of the season against Brighton is a very bad sign. Any team that wants to finish in top four should be able to beat Brighton or draw at worst. No excuses for ETH this time around.

Our defense in this game was crappy.

The 2 goals Brighton scored was as a result of our weak defense. The 2nd goal was worse. 2 players in were unmarked in the 18 yard box.

We need to improve on our defense.

Just like APC keeps blaming PDP for being the reason for their failure after 9 years of taking power, that's exactly the way Man U fans are blaming Chelsea for their failures....

Oga, even with Pep or Klopp, the departure of those players won't be that simple, and won't happen in one season.

You don't understand the influence of the owners and management.

Look at how long it took them to get rid of Anthony Martial... They could have gotten some money for him 2 years back, but refused to release him.
