Lol, I know rich people from that era and they did not live in this, they lived in mansions. Even saw a baby grand piano in a friend's sitting room I visited as a kid. Rich men from this era built better mansions than rich men of today. I mean large houses not the dwarf duplexes people build today. This is a very normal house. |

Thats life for you. Vanity upon Vanity all is vanity! What many killed themselves for in those days is a load of scrap today. Listen! Everything we own and see around, they do not really Matter. All the great Mansions, posh automobiles and so on that we own and want to acquire by all means, they do not really matter. Nobody will take a pin From here to Eternity. We came Here Na.ked, we will leave here Nak.ed. Do not kill yourself because you want to acquire this or that or because you dont have this or that. Handle the things of this life with Very Light Hands else they will deceive you, destroy you and land you in Hell. Strive to get What really Matters. The Genuie Salvation of your soul is what really Matters. It is Only available through JESUS CHRIST. |

OP where is the apoti fedeko of the 80s and early 90s? What's plasma tv doing there? In a rich man's house then, you'd see a lot of quality carved decor and spacious living rooms with luxurious wavy settees, aquarium and the likes. No landline telephone, no bookshelf in your picture and you say it's a rich man's house. Doesn't look like it at all. |

No 80s/90s sitting room is this small and no one uses a flat screen in Nigeria around that period. This is more like just a set up for a those retro movies they now make this days. |

This is just an average man's sitting room in that era. More like the sitting room of someone who is just doing fine in the city. |

This is not true. Even in the 90s, the rich man's parlour contained ornate furniture and lush carpets. The picture you put here can even be found in some face me I face you houses, the ones with room and parlor. |

This looks more like a living room of a babalawo in current times than a rich man's house of those days. There was never a time when there would be sheets on the flooring of a cushion. Never. They could be on the armrest and headrest. But never found on the yanchrest. Whoever did this never visited a rich man in his entire life |

This smells middle class and has nothing to do with the rich But it depends on what you see as rich |
