It still depends on Osimhen to fight for his place. Conte hasn't categorically told him that he's not needed or won't be used (even though he won't be the first choice again) and I don't think Lukaku is the Lukaku Conte think he's getting. So yeah, Osimhen can still fight for his shirt back.

It's not hypocrisy. Chelsea are trying to reduce the wage bill. Chelsea has numerous options, while osimhen's options are limited. He's done at Napoli, and like someone up there said,he needs to prove himself all over again and poise himself for a permanent move. His last season wasn't that great you know.. injuries and it was a hit and miss something. His career is at stake here. 150P/W is not too bad. Don't compare a settled player +permanent havertz with someone looking for an escape route.Virtually every team has closed shop, ready to work with what they have..time is running out for him.

I don't follow Napoli news but like I said, except Conte is saying he doesn't want Osimhen AT ALL, then he might not fall back to him but if his reason is just to get Lukaku as his first choice, then Osimhen automatically becomes 2nd choice.
