The agenda driven arguments here will only reduce one's IQ.

Football is a game of 11 players given different role toward the major aim of winning, The 11 players are divided into 4 major departments (goal keeping, defence, midfield and attack), every department must do their primary duties to ensure a win because failure from 1 of the department can undermine the effort of the other 3 departments.

So a winning team must be well equipped in the 4 departments.

Some fact to back this.

For the past 15 years in EPL the winner is always among the top 2 highest scoring team in the league (except 1 season).

This should enlightened you about how important both
departments are.

You can't be scoring and conceding at the same or similar rate and expect to win anything.
And your clean sheets cannot be in the same or similar rate as your scoring and expect to win anything either.

So you need substantial balance between both of them to march to glory.

Fabian Ruiz is quality both defensive and ball progression. He impacts games positively and can score as well.

Kdh was shaky today same as against serviette. You can't count on him for defensive role. Now lavia is injury prone , leaving us with Enzo and caicedo for 60 games.

He's not lazy. He's only adjusting from what was the tactically-chaotic football Poch was playing last season... which I always continued to say our problem was mostly tactical and not particularly personnel issue.

If you checked before Chelsea, when Caicedo played positional football under DeZerbi, he never made that many errors. These errors will sort themselves out with time under Maresca.

In the meantime, we have good cover.
