Was on the phone not quite long with someone who just got layed off at the office.
The tone of the person was quite low and I quite understood the person's present situation.
Alot of bills to be paid including rentage,feeding etc etc
Alot of people are in this present situation brought about by the failures of the Government in place
People going through depression which may lead to suicidal thoughts.
How are people that just suffered job losses surviving especially if you are a single lady ?
It's heartbreaking.

The depression people are going through in the country is mind-blowing.
Even to take yourself to the hospital when you are sick is not easy as they will bill all the money you have on you.

As an ambitious person,when you work under a company or as an employee what should be in your mind is getting money to establish your ministry too or better still save up like a mad man after removing your basic expense from your salary.
Well this might not work well for family men but personally, I would rather be comfortable before getting married. Even as I dey comfortable to some extent sef,I never reason marriage matter talkless of someone struggling effortlessly and still feeding wife with kids

Most salary earners live from hand to mouth as they mostly use their salary to pay rentage at the end of the year.

It's only in Nigeria you will find fully able bodies that desired to work earnestly but no job opportunities, you try starting a business and different government failed policies will kill it in a few months.

Gone are the days when barbing saloons and bet shops leave their generators on all true just to attract customers, now they can't try that with fuel price of 1k per litre with long queues and struggle before getting it.

What about prices of foodstuffs in the market? Majority of us can't eat what we like this days, we only eat what we see.
2021/2022 a derica of beans was less than N300 now it's N2300, just take a look at the increment in under a year and half

Honestly there's no hope for this country anymore atleast not with the way this present administration is misfiring on all fronts but then again they have brain dead supporters who cheer them up no matter what happens.
