Then expect arik to fail again. Nigerian government cannot run big business, they will run it down 20 times with corruption. |

Air Peace has a working formula but it seems the owner is from the wrong tribe which has shown its dexterity in making profit from any business they venture, even fellow Africans in Ghana, Kenya, South Africa lock up their shops accusing them of taking over their retail businesses instead of learning from their internationally acknowledged apprenticeship programme, back home in Nigeria we would rather use Molue as National Carrier than Air Peace, even British and Foreign Airlines will be happy to encourage us to make moribund Arik and Aero our National Carrier than allow Air Peace to fly into Heathrow Airport in London. But I am happy that Nigerians are waking up after seeing the damage Nepotism did to the country under Buhari regime, his nephew Sirika openly scammed the country with his failed Nigeria Air, meanwhile Air Peace that is owned by an Igbo man is managed by Yorubas with majority of the pilots from various tribes across Nigeria succeeded because the owner went for the best hands and competence. Don't make Arik and Aero our National Carrier, sell it off if AMCON is unable to manage it |

FG should focus on other things We don't need national carriers, the government have proven over and over again that they can't manage fleets of planes, why is it been forced? Focus on other aspects of national development, must we own a national carriers, how does it benefit us when there are tens of private carriers already Why is this been forced? |

misransome:Exactly why Atiku's PDP privatisation and deregulation is far better than APC's scamdemic socialist progressive big government ownership of businesses. BTW, is Air Peace not our national carrier? How many national carriers do they have in the US and in the UK ![]() |

Thief. They wan cash out again. Why not privatized or make the National carrier a PPP where the country having significant percentage of shares , say 40 to 50% and the remaining for the private sector. |

Otunski:Corruption is easier when scamdemic socialists and pseudo progressives ruin the country with ownership of businesses instead of letting the private sector grow the economy. How much were we sinking as subsidies into NITEL's ineffective and inefficient bottomless pit before Atiku's capitalist PDP deregulated the sector for competitive growth ![]() |
