Yesterday 26/08/2024 was a bad day for travellers that used Kaduna-Abuja high way. An accident which involved a Tanker caused a massive hold up that lasted for over 12 hours.

This Accident took place about 87 kilometers along Kaduna-Abuja axis of the high way. Close to Katari Community. Commuters were stranded for the whole day. Both Abuja-Kaduna and Kaduna-Abuja axis of the express way was blocked by the traffic jam.

When the accident Truck was eventually removed, it took over 6 hours before the hold up was cleared.

There is traffic everywhere in the world, be it China, USA, Russia, Canada and even in heaven. It is not peculiar to this road.

This road used to be in very good shape , you could drive over 180kmph and feel safe.

It doesn't need to remain for a week to be repaired. These are failed engineering work and are not normal.

Lost one of my guy, his mother in-law and another friend to that treacherous place . They tried stopping him and when he didn't, those sons of bitches just blew up his tires.

To even think I drove along that road, almost every weekend, for years on end, that's crazy
