Bro, let me educate you. no bank will give a state government loan beyond his tenure. Also, they do credit anlysis before giving out loan and so they must have checked his repayment capacity CyrusVI: |

This is the Tinubu effect we are talking about. He increased their allocation by 40% And their expenses by 400%. And his supporters are celebrating and want everyone to be clapping for him. Is this not the problem every other person is facing. He increased minimum wage by over 100%, yet the new minimum wage cannot buy a bag of rice. Celebrating tuition loan to students that cannot concentrate because of hunger and insecurity. Tinubu has nothing good to offer Nigerians. Those still deceiving themselves should realize it now. |

Don’t worry, Governor Peter Obi will have a press conference tomorrow when he returns from the Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) meeting in Abuja. I heard he sacked the finance commissioner last night. I don’t know, but my guess is that it is not unrelated with this humongous loan that Prof Soludo is about to take. Krankhead: |

Ennyjude:Our Governors, our Emperors! Can they lists what they have used the Homongous NBILLIONS for- from the Palliatives to Quarterly NBILLIONS from Oil-to- NBillions in Yearly Budgets - to the 13% derivation by Oil Producing States of Nigeria! Nna do well- as the States becomes more poorer because our Governors don't know what to do with Money. I pity the gaulibles Youths, the gaulibles audiences/ Masses. How many of the Jobless Youths and the Masses, have been supported by these Governors in Grants,in Scholarships,in States Infrastructures development, etc. Rubbish and despicable acts. |

As much as I'm not a fan of the reckless borrowing of the state governors. The narrative the FG's urchins are trying to push out that FAAC has increased by 40% is not completely true. It has truly increased in figure but greatly reduced in value. What the state could do with their "little" allocations during Buhari failed regime cannot be done with the "increased" allocations under the super failed FG of Tinubu. VALUE NOT FIGURE!!! |

Omenlon:Let the dead PDP belly-members or supporters come to defend him. Most Governors are just hiding under this weak Constitution to commit atrocities against their States. Or let Each States Governors State Clearly- Why and What they need the Loans For! Let them Clearly State if for their Citizens, before approvals! |

Taking loan is done more out of culture than of necessity.. They take the loans because it's convenient to do so.. They do do under the guise of deficits and end up stealing half of it. Some of the governors are way richer than the state they govern. The system made it so. |
