HydraFeeds:So chemicals that killed cows would not also kill human beings and you want to sell the same crops to human beings? See how you guys reason, the rest of your stuff is just trash... You didn't even address the Issue of government taking sides with the herdsmen even up to flogging an Oba... Read your while write up, you never held the government accountable for anything.... Ofcourse blame the people for everything and leave the government... See how you guys reason.... The farmers that were killed in their farms were they not working harder or you feel you are better than them? |

Brendaniel:going by your logic ,the chemicals that kill weed should keep the crop as well and if it doesn't kill the crops then such crops are bad for your consumption . No government support herdsmen ,they only support breaking down of order and yes there are many herdsmen languishing in jail or being forced to pay for damages. In this country ,anybody can hire soldiers and even DSS to carry out their biddings ,if herdsmen hire soldiers to intimidate Obas then such Oba should hire DSS to intimidate herdsmen . I've addressed most of the issues you raised ,it's either you're retarded or you just want to deflect and pass blame to others . The farmers being attacked are hard worker but not smart worker ,it's common sense anywhere in the world that if you have investments, you need to protect it by any means necessary. |

Some fun facts about Obasanjo: Obasanjo is a man who gave away our oil rich Bakassi peninsula land to France / Cameroon. He liquidated our national carrier airline, Nigeria Airways. He sold Malubu oil block which was worth $1Tn ($1,000Bn ) to foreign oil companies for approx $1Bn. He budget and collected $16Bn to provide us with light but the darkness increased. He spent 8years but unable to complete a single notable mega infrastructure project. Must of the insecurity and problems Nigeria is dealing with originated with his government who introduced the flawed 1999 constitution. Obasanjo was an unmitigated tragedy!

HydraFeeds:Go back and read my comment again, if you poison he farm to kill the cows, it means means the crops are now toxic and you have to destroy them yourself after killing the cows with it, if you don't understand something you ask questions. How can you sell a poisoned crop to human beings, so you will destroy your whole investment because you want to kill cows? See how you guys reason... Are soldiers not a government body? How can any person hire them for dirty work and you are comfortable with it ? Look at way you guys reason now, is that how it is done Canada or UAE? And you are not even ashamed to even say such, that is how much the government has failed to deliver good governance, it speaks volume on the kind of person you are, I still tell you again you are part of the problem why Africa is the way it is... So in conclusion what you are trying to say is that everyone in Nigeria that died from insecurity due to herdsmen, banditry and terrorism died because they were stupid, not smart or did not put in enough measures to protect their investment? So the doctor who came from abroad to invest in farming in Ogun state that was killed was stupid or not smart? The local farmers who have been killd all over Nigeria who don't have millions to high vigilante or put in security cameras were not smart or were stupid? That Chief Olu Falae that was kidnapped in his farm, he was also not smart and was also stupid too? I can go on and on... What of those that were simply just traveling going about their business that were killed by Fulani herdsmen were they also stupid and not smart? 3 Obas of Yoruba land were killed by Fulani herdsmen in Yoruba land while doing their leadership work travelling, are you also trying to say that they were stupid and not smart? |

OALandAgents:Can you count how many multinationals have closed shop and left Nigeria under the current govt of your lord? Even the major federal govt asset for oil and gas, NNPCL has been captured partly in ownership by your lord. . Can you imaging how many businesses in Nigeria have fold up since your lord took over? How many businesses are even making profit in Nigeria currently? He has not used up to 15 months in power. . You can imagine what $billions will go by time he finishes. Go and rest oga. |

Brendaniel:You need to check your knowledge box because a reasonable person knows that leaves are poisoned but not the tubers or cobs which will also be washed away by rainfall or have short time of potency . Another method used is animal dungs which is just to deter animals from eating it but not to kill them . So you're saying that herdsmen hiring soldiers to beat up village head is legal but village head hiring soldiers to beat up herdsmen is illegal ? We all know hiring any armed forces is illegal but it's the reality we found ourselves. If anyone use armed forces to threaten you ,you too must use armed forces to retaliate. Simple as that . Before you invest in any business or locality ,I believe a reasonable person must have done his or her survey to know what's on ground . A friend invited me to invest in SE recently but I was reluctant because of several factors like insecurity and tribalism. Same happened when someone invited me to invest in Kaduna or when someone invited me to NE. As a smart investor that won't want to lose his money or head ,I need to know what's on ground and if I have enough resources to protect my assets ,as a capitalist,I don't wait for any third person before I can do my thing . Only an irresponsible person will not do anything because someone else doesn't do it for him . And yes ,back to my initial comment ,it's people that become government, government don't fall from heaven . Therefore people are to be blamed for whatever policy the government made because it's people that become government. |

Brendaniel:Victims of kidnappings on the road are not the original topic . The topic is based on farmers only and what should be done to prevent Fulani herdsmen atrocities. The Obas are weak else no one will dare attack them and even if they're attacked ,their Oba friends ,people of the town they govern and their personal deterrents should have revenged . No matter your status ,if Fulani herdsmen attacked you or your farm , you're stupid and weak . This is not to disparage the memory of Fulani herdsmen barbaric attacks victims but if you know you live among enemies ,the next thing for a wise man to do is to protect himself . A farmer that can't hire vigilante ,buy gun ,form coalition with other farmers can poison his farm , spread animal dungs ,set trap and do other things he can think of to protect his assets . |

Wetin you do about it while you were the President? Same as Buhari, Jonathan, and the previous ones, especially the military governor such as Aguiyi Ironsi who sunk Nigeria into backwardness! That being said, I actually expect Tinubu to be working towards restructuring like he promised. Point is Nigeria can't continue in the same useless stupid setup without making steps towards restructuring which was the best highlight of the country. Tinubu can actually take steps towards it by viewing the country as 6 regional territories (NW, NE, NC, SS, SE, SW) while working towards the emancipation of each region. For example, create at least one agricultural hub in each region. That's 6 agricultural hubs, considering the 6 regions. Ensure each agricultural hub comprises large scale mechanized farming combined with agro industries while also including animal husbandry in the hub for the aborigines in each region. This will actually solve a lot of problem at once for the country. It will increase Food supply, improve the economy while also tackling insecurity. It will also help the emancipation of each region for restructuring. This is actually the best way. Not distributing food relief which won't get to anyone and besides, distributing food relief is more or less wastage without much productivity. Why not create agricultural hub to provide food instead? That's productivity! |
