madridguy:Where is your evidence of this blackmail? According to the Nigerian Police Force, PIDOM was instead arrested on allegations of Whistleblowing which is a non-criminal offence in Nigeria. As a matter of fact, the Nigerian Freedom of Informaton Act 2011 as well as the Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Act 2000 provide protection to whistleblowers in both public and private sectors. So, where do you get your own accusations against PIDOM from? ![]() |

opamoses1:Even if we are to assume those are lies from him, what you pointed out are civil cases that do not warrant an arrest of any kind without a court judgment. This is according to section 32(2) of the Nigerian Police Act 2020. ![]() Muyiwa Adejobi, the Nigerian Police Spokesman who spoke on Saturday 24th, 2024, regarding the case, did not mention that an arrest warrant was issued before PIDOM's arrest. Nor did the Spokesman in fact state that PIDOM had been taken to the courts. As of today, in violation of the Nigerian Police Act 2020, the Police Force has yet to get PIDOM before a court Judge. ![]() |

aylipple:According to the Police, these were allegations made against PIDOM. None of these allegations had been proven as of Saturday, August 24th, 2024, when Police Spokesperson, Muyiwa Adejobi, came out and said and I quote, "There are several allegations leveled against the suspect, including unlawful possession, leakages of classified documents, cyber-related offenses, and others. We will do due diligence in carrying out a thorough investigation into the cases. The force will leave no stone unturned to continually enforce the law and bequeath to Nigerians a more secure nation." PIDOM has been held in police custody, illegally mind you, since he is not even meant to have been arrested on mere allegations according to the Nigerian Police Act 2020 Sections 31 & Section 32(1). ![]() 3. If you had some sense in you, you would learn your Laws and your rights because one day, it might be your turn to face these same bullies whom you sic on PIDOM. And when it comes your time to face them, there might be no mercy left to be had ![]() |

Timmi:1. Defamation is a civil wrong, and not a criminal wrong, and hence does not warrant an arrest without first appearing in court at least - Section 32(2) of the Nigerian Police Act 2020 & sections 35(1) of the Nigerian Constitution. PIDOM's rights were violated when he was arrested. ![]() 2. Nothing wrong with being an envelope-collecting roadside pseudo-writer. There is no crime against being just that. Section 32(1) of the Nigerian Police Act 2020 insists that an allegation or charge of committing an offense has to be established by an Act of the National Assembly or under any other Law before the person can be arrested, investigated, and tried or dealt with according to the provisions of the Nigerian Police Act 2020. Basically, the Police cannot make up crimes of their own design to charge, investigate, try, or deal with a person for. They are to instead follow the Law. You also have no power to make up ideas of crime as you go. ![]() |

Biglittlelois:if the supporters of Obi would call others thieves, why would you threaten someone with arrest and prosecution because they called Obi a fraud that he really is? Does that not tell you how foolish you are ? What's good for the goose is not good for the gander in your own world? Any mpama. |

Kobojunkieee:First, you didn’t have to be rude. Secondly, it takes one without “some sense” to actually recognize another one without sense in them. Thirdly, I don’t leak classified documents so there won’t be a time for me to “face them”. Fourthly, the police can arrest based on “mere allegations”, that’s why when one is arrested, they’re brought in for questioning based on the allegations for which they were arrested in the first place and if there’s no substance to the allegation, they’re released otherwise, they’re further held until arraigned in court and this is a standard practice. Lastly, if there’s anything David Hundeyin’s exposè proved is that Isaac Bristol, who the police currently have in custody, is actually PIDOM, so save your tears for the 👨⚖️ and yes, feel free to continue your rants under my response which is the last you’ll get from me. |

Kobojunkieee:My point, which I stated clearly is that anyone’s right to freedom of speech does not confer impunity on the right of others. Your right stopped when you make derogatory and unproven lies about others, it’s like saying your right to gather and protest allows you to not allow people to go about their daily business because you think you can compel others to join in your cause. Your right stops when you infringe on the right of others. Every citizen is covered by same fundamental rights. |

Timmi:1. that statement has no real meaning given that no one's right is defined as dependent on that of others. Please, only make that ridiculous statement only when conversing with low-IQ beings such as you find in Nigerian beer parlors. ![]() 2 . Intentional obstruction of movement of others is not a right. However, protesting is a right of everyone, even if it results in slowing down movement of traffic and motorways. Just as you have a right to be on that road, those protesters also have the same right. If in exercising their right even as you exercise yours top, traffic is reduced, that isn't a crime against the protestors nor a reason why their right to protest should be revoked. ![]() Here in the States, we deal with the same. The recent DNC protest in Chicago for example caused traffic to slow down in much of the downtown area. But you know what most people did? Rather than foolishly call for arrest of protestors or demand their right to protest be revoked, most Chicagoans basically planned their lives around the protesters and avoided the areas they knew the protesters would be on. this is how it is done in parts of the world were people have learned to respect the individual rights of everyone. ![]() 3. Again, that is beer parlors foolishness! Do not repeat that braindead mantra of those who are paid by Tinubu anywhere sensible people gather. That line is on the same IQ level as the "Igbo mut Go", and "Emilokan" approach to governance. ![]() |

Kobojunkieee:Mr man, I have been in the USA probably longer than you have. Have you ever seen or heard where protesters block roads and burn tire on the roads because others to join in their cause? NO Civil liberties or labor unions protest but it’s always local protest, such as in front of a store, carrying placards while marching through the street (on a side walk), without disturbing others. The latest case is the march to the Capitol instigated by Trump. The protesters were prosecuted and some jailed for destruction of public properties and for attacking the security personnel. Their right to protest doesn’t confer on them the right to loot and destruction of properties nor intentionally attacking people to cause harm. At least, you witnessed the above as you claimed to be in the USA. Your right - freedom of speech, freedom of association doesn’t confer on you the right to step on my property and damage it. In Florida, where I lived, you have a right to shoot (with a gun) anyone that trespasses on your property. |

Timmi:1. Because others do join in their cause? What does that mean? ![]() 2. That is not true at all in the U.S. ![]() 3. Protesting is no excuse for committing crimes obviously. But I am not certain what you are even attempting to argue. ![]() 4. Nobody said it does, so again, I am not certain where you are going with this since clearly, even the Governor of Kano made it abundantly clear that the looting and destruction that happened in Kano was not done by protestors but touts who were hired by politicians in his state. The same was reported during the EndSars protest. So what in the world are you yammering on about here? ![]() 5. It seems clear to me at this point that you already lost your breeze and are now arguing for the sake of arguing. Earlier you had required that their right to protest be denied them which prompted me to mention that it is foolishness to suggest such. There have been many protests here in the US that turned violent over the many years, George Floyd’s which happened in 2020 quickly comes to mind. No one called for people's right to protest to be denied them after the many banks that were destroyed. Even after the trump stewpidity that followed, not a single person suggested that the right be stripped of the people because people know such talk is foolishness. ![]() |

Biglittlelois:the matter pain you well well. Next time be reasonable to know what to say and not what to say, so your children don't regret having you as their mother as they grow. Endeavor to teach them balance, let them know how beautiful it is to live a life that is free of sentiment, not in all occasions though. Above all, be sensible in your dealings.
