Good, business is business, let prices be at the seller's choice... |
| Re: Lagos Monarch Dissolves Market Committees Over High Cost Of Foodstuff by BigBelleControl(m): 7:26am On Aug 28, 2024 |
This should be replicated across Lagos. It should be a free market, sellers should not be forced to sell at a particular price. |

Nigerians are terrible people. It's not as if they really care for the other person. Tinubu, Wole Soyinka etc protested against Jonathan. They did that because the system wasn't favoring them. This current protest, the protesters protested because the system isn't favoring them and its not as if they really care about the others. I won't be surprised if the monarch is saying this because the system being run by the touts isn't favorable to him; maybe the eguje nor dey turn reach him side well. ![]() When the system favors you, you keep mute. When it goes the other way, you keep shouting. ![]() |

I feel dissolving the committee has nothing to do with the high cost of living. Consider transportation, rents and other factors, these are the factors affecting the high cost of things |

The Market leaders are not the cause of the problem.. If you want to hit a nail, hit it from its head and stop beating around the bush. Cost of fuel keep increasing which basically is affecting the cost of production and the cost of transportation.... so stop disturbing those market leaders |
| Re: Lagos Monarch Dissolves Market Committees Over High Cost Of Foodstuff by Atuero(m): 7:30am On Aug 28, 2024 |
Good one The reason life is easier in the North is because there no union in the market controlling pricing, you buy directly from the farmers in the case of food stuff, This case of market union is not helping issues down south However, you can not separate Tinubu as the major cause of the disaster Nigerians are experiencing now, |

This is a major problem.... On top high cost of transportation in getting the products to market.... Tout go collect, committee go collect... Leaving now choice in claiming back those losses.... So the customer ends up paying more.... It's a market, so competition should be allowed.... Those that have the capacity to make profit with lower margin... Should be allowed to do so.... |

Those market people r one of d reason things r cost, they r like agbero they will give u price to sell so that they will make their money. If u no free them go say make u no sell for the market. Or they force u to sell to the market women at their own preferred price they will now multiply the price n sell to consumers at a high price. They r evil |

![]() Brendaniel:Stop crying, because your packaged fraud lost . Your packaged fraud increased Igbariam school fees and said education is not meant for the poor. but you all come here to preach rubbish, haven’t you seen videos were market women harass their colleagues selling below their cap price? market Unions have outlived it’s purpose to create better well fare for their unions, what they’re are doing now is pure extortion. Dissolve the Unions and allow competition amongst themselves period . All your likes , their wishes is for things to remain like this so your internet president will see something to campaign with . You can keep your Market association In the YEAST allow other states do their thing. |

Monarch are some of our issues as a people. They collect funds from herdsman to accommodate them, then these people get the impetus to wreck havoc. They dislodge native people of their petty businesses after they collect crumbs from non-natives. Some of them charge potential/intending manufacturing companies so much that those get forced not to mount their companies anymore within their locality—forgetting it's their youths who get employed there. |
