Stop asking questions like a dumb fvck. When did it became a crime to protest peacefully ? Apart from protesting, what other crimes were they charged with apart from the ones fabricated by the police. Believe the police at your own peril How can a sane court give orders to remand someone for further 60 days just because he or she joined in the protest When Tinubu joined in the protest at ojota during good luck Jonathan tenure, was he arrested? Was he remanded for further 60 days People like you are the reason why evil will continue to thrive. Y'all will see the truth but choose to say otherwise Shikena: |

This is actually a good reason for all Nigerians to go in the street to demand the release of the protesters. These are all trumped up charges regardless of the police and persecution are saying. |

Keyword: Peacefully. Also, Tinubu did not carry the flag of Russia during a protest against Nigerian government, he can't get away with that. You need to show a better understanding of the legal process before your opinion is seen as valid or just read and learn like most people. It does not operate like the streets or Nairaland where you resort to insults and bravado even when it's clear you have no clue what you are rambling about. stunnert: |

Brendaniel:And you think that is a good testimony. That's part of what worked against Peter Obi in the last election bc people asked what he contributed to the present Democracy during the Military regime. Beside, he was then an Abacha apart from doing his business in London. Tomorrow you people will be shouting ... Tribalism...all about. |

I wonder why I even bothered replying a fool like you. You've clearly choose to remain in the dark, enjoy it. I bet you wouldn't think like this if one of your relatives were among those detained. But that's typical of a lot of Nigerians, they don't care as long as it doesn't affect them Shikena: |

You have not done a good job of presenting a sound argument. Emotions don't win primary school debates, not to talk of legal issues. You are better off reading and learning, it helps everyone. stunnert: |

Tinubu and his brother IGP Kayode Egbetokun are rewarding the Hausa-Fulanis for their vote in the last election by arresting their kids from across Kano and other parts of the North, fly them to Abuja to detain them for protesting for hunger waving flags they don't even understand. If not for North and their Muslim -Muslim mentality they were hoodwinked with by APC, Tinubu would have been defeated, Obi won 60% of the entire votes from the 17 States of Southern Nigeria, defeating Tinubu in Lagos. The North should enjoy the government they voted in 2023 just as the government they voted in 2015 and 2019. |

Shikena:Why did the IG need the attorney General to circumvent the Nigerian Constitution in this case? The Constitution is clear on who can or cannot be arrested, under what conditions, etc., so why the 60-day remand request? ![]() |

Shikena:But there is no law against carrying a Russian flag during a protest. And no, you cannot and should not be arrested for a crime that is not established in an Act by the National Assembly or the National Constitution. ![]() |

This is the reason why Tinubu increased the salaries of judges by 300 percent. He will be able to use court to terrorize Nigerians. |

The court's decision to remand 124 EndBadGovernance protesters for 60 days raises concerns about human rights, freedom of speech, and the future of political dissent. This ruling could set a dangerous precedent, potentially stifling activism and challenging the balance between national security and individual freedoms. Instagram panel |
