■ I have police act with regulations 'cap p1 9', I have the Nigeria constitution and section 35(1) didn't talk about arrest of any journalist written fake news on the internet. If you want to go further I will screenshot it for you.

Nevertheless, let them and their agents sue the government for their release and see the wind that will blow to expose the cabal that sponsored them.

These are not even journalists! They are mostly pay-as-you-go bloggers politicians use. If they are journalists, by now the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) would be fighting for their release like we had during the military era. They should be given free opportunity to defend themselves in court. Criminal defamation is a serious crime, whoever tells you otherwise is setting you up for destruction, those who criminally defame innocent people have ruined the lives of many of their victims. Their victims deserve to get justice.

Most of the things Nigerians wrote in the media in the name of free press are not acceptable in any European countries. Even picking/ making calls in some areas are forbidden. But I'm Nigeria, everyone wants to claim rights blindly.
If Nigerian police is given the advantage of enforcing every bit of the laws in Nigeria as obtained in other climates. It will be difficult to know what next you will do that will land you in jail
