@ChybuzzDD You are right. One need to be very careful because of the situation of the country perhaps 🤔 someone who don’t have an idea about plumbing, installations etc will claim he is a plumber. Someone with no electrical idea will say he is an electrician. Once he gets your money, that’s the end. Everyone is seriously fighting to make ends meet. There’s a pandemic on TikTok now too, so many Nigerian pastors are going live on TikTok just to give spiritual messages whether fake or real only them knows. But these pastors keep asking viewers to bless them financially. Some will even tell their viewers it’s only those who give them money they will give spiritual message. These so called pastors are shamelessly begging for gifts and money on TikTok. This is desperate times in Nigeria and there’s hunger in the land. Most times Those in diaspora are usually the target. Seems to me like everyone is just out there only for what they want to get from you and to reap you off. It’s a tough time in Nigeria currently.

You're very correct sir. Could be due to sudden inflation and trying to work within old budget, plain greed or just an unexplainable bad experience just like people have bad days.
It is far easier to get redress or make deterrent here due to threat of loss of patronage due to exposure and bad publicity than offline with no way to warn others or be warned.
I can't decide how someone that lost money would grieve, most especially in building where the effect would constantly be seen and serve as a reminder but it is not proper to generalize and condemn the artisans here.
That you are angry at someone doesn't give right to condemn and destroy other's source of livelihood. The person they have issues with should be called out boldly to warn others.

I don't know the story and even whatever is posted would not capture and give full details of circumstance or encounters but do what you know is right.

Mr Gbadexy, there are few good contractors / artisans on here truly because am still working with one from this same site … I can soundly say that the building was constructed by artisans from this noble site ,but what do we say about the majority that have been dubious one way or another . You as a person have contributed to few of those cases on here . There are some that I gave enough room to sort things out until the person in question tries to be too smart . Just say you know , I have not been in Nigeria to monitor things for myself until I get others f
to look into their works. Out of over six artisans that have worked with on here , four of them have given me one issue or another . They’ve all tried to use inferior materials to execute the project . I even have one of them video on my phone .

The question is why do you people support abnormalities? You always get spiked most of the time when I mentioned the wrongdoing of these criminals why can’t you all go after those artisans giving the rest of you good one bad name?

My apologies sir. I am not here to make friends but for business and my sole intention is to protect the business space here against acts and comments likely to discourage business here.
That is why I always advocate for calling out the exact culprit.

The only contractor I have met and has patronized me on several occasion is twinskenny and it is strictly business. I've gotten referrals and recommendations from hamtabfawaz and bolu86 on a couple occasions which is greatly appreciated.
I otherwise have no contact or relationship promoting each other's interest blindly. Anyone could contact me randomly because my phone number is public, I still advice them to go and do the right thing.
My major interest is not to spoil the platform for genuine people. I know there are likely so clients with different personalities which is why I call for objectivity but I don't know anyone's full story or in position to outrightly take sides.
It's your money and property and you have full right to react as you deem fit.
I don't abscond with client's money not give inferior paint products. I could even supply on credit if given bank assurance or anything such concrete payable trade assurance. Our own challenge being that different clients choose different colors that is useless until another person choose it if a client changes his mind after production due to not committing themselves with payment. It has happened before.
I pray the whole issue is resolved with you getting value for your hard earned money.
