Nigerian military full rank structure!!!!

The reading public can be better educated on the organogram of the Nigerian Armed Forces

I guess no Nigerian military officer have attained the field marshal rank. General Sanni Abacha is the military man ever reputed to have attained the rank of a general without skipping a rank in Nigeria.

C in c is different from field marshal. It is possible that the president could promote an officer to that rank but that would most likely occur during a serious war between Nigeria and several other countries

Check the history of Nigeria army via commissioned staff before the civil War. For ur information we are not afraid only that no honor or prestige attached to the Nigerian present army.

Any rank above Colonel in the NA is politicized, deviod of competence and merit.

The current egyptian president attained the rank of a field marshal before retiring to rule the country.. Field Marshal
