Most commenters here seem not to understand the precarious situation faced by the State of Israel.

This is a small country completely surrounded by extremely hostile Muslim countries.

They deny the Israelis the right to self existence and have vowed never to recognize the State of Israel.

If they had the power to wipe out Israel, they would have long done so without remorse.
