Pavel Durov was given away by his girlfriend Yulia Vavilova, who shared their geolocation on Instagram.

The Daily Mail writes about this.

According to the publication, it was Vavilova's post that allowed the French police to find out when Durov would arrive in France in order to arrest him immediately.

The newspaper also suggests that Vavilova may be a Mossad agent.

They must not necessarily do it directly..... it could be indirectly also. Pay someone to snitch. Even the biggest drug lord in Mexico was snitched upon leading to him being flown directly to USA.
