So it's ok for Davido to have someone arrested and most people are ok with it. We have also seen where pastors getting people arrested and no public condemnation of such acts.
Now, if a politician should do the same, then the whole country will be crying about the rule of law.

This just goes to show that Nigerian society is a complete mess.

If someone maligns you professionally, you can do whatever it takes to clear your name. Which politician can you malign now and there won't be an atom of truth in the accusation?
I don't encourage anyone to spread falsehood against anyone whether politician or not, but the truth remains that most politicians usually arrest people for speaking truth to them.
