Granting interviews is not a criteria in our electoral laws or constitution. But how do the electorates get to access a candidate if he or she keeps on running away from the media. Mind you, campaign rallies is just a jamboree because the candidates don't say meaningful things at the campaign grounds.

Arise TV is not an election umpire neither are they a monopoly in the media space to demand that the APC candidate show up on their platform.

Every state in Nigeria deserve at least a right thinking being as a governor! APC has taken this country for a ride for a long time. Imagine having a dullard as a governor! During Anambra election in 2022 they fielded Andy Uba as a gubernatorial candidate if not for death Ifeanyi Uba would have been their candidate... Are there no educated persons in APC? Why fielding candidates with questionable characters? The case Lyon of Baylsa comes to mind.

Please show us a constitutional sections that says, you must appear for interviews before you can contest in any election in Nigeria. If you can't provide that section, that shows you are illiterate kid with free bonus data to type rubbish in a public forum

The day the people of every state especially the key stakeholders of the state take the position of the governor as a do or die affair, that day, only competent persons will emerge as governors. How can you entrust the treasury (bank/account) of your whole state to someone you don't know enough? What kind of a risk is that? Any person who can't come out for interview to speak on air about his plans for the state and her people should get out and go look for another job. He's clearly not fit for the job. You want to go represent your country for Olympic but you don't want to come for trials with others to see how fit you are. It means you clearly are deluded.
