Check Sahara reporters website There has been a massive and total demolition of artisan market in Enugu with no plan to resettle the northerners doing their businesses there. If this was done to Igbos in the north, Ohaneze Ndigbo would have been crying discrmination and petitioned the United Nations and other world bodies. Governor Mbah should provide water to Enugu township. It is a shame that Enugu lacks water and he is more interested in the destruction of other people's livelihood. |

Don't bring ethnic coloration to this please... That area is in the heart of the Coal City and these guys have defaced it with their sprawled buildings or shacks, that place is not planned and it's good the govt is now taking action to return the face of Artisan. Mind you; the Igbos still dominate that area. ![]() |

Ezewuzie01:So because of water other developmental projects should not go on?By the way are there also no indigenous business owners there? They must have been given several notices before demolishing it. |
| Re: Enugu State Government Demolishes Artisan Market Dominated By Hausa Traders by Ezewuzie01(op): 4:17pm On Aug 29, 2024 |
Kam2021:Water is number one priority of Enugu residents. You may enquire for yourself. Enugu residents are really suffering from lack of water. Enugu state government has no resettlement plans for the traders there and you can guess it is because they are Hausa. |

Ezewuzie01:Then that means you don't know Artisan market, for although there are some Northerners selling Goats and cattle there, the overwhelming traders there are Igbos |

CrushObituaries:you guys will just stay behind your keyboard and be typing rubbish. majority of the victims are actually igbos, with very few of the northerners, but it is very insensitive of the Enugu state governor and his kitchen cabinet, to dislodge the people without providing any alternatives, considering the present harsh national economic realities. it's nauseating the manner these politicians behave as if they don't know that, their policies affect human citizens and not animals. |
| Re: Enugu State Government Demolishes Artisan Market Dominated By Hausa Traders by Ezewuzie01(op): 4:28pm On Aug 29, 2024 |
gidgiddy:The Hausa section of the market was the main focus of the demolition. |

Ezewuzie01:why this your misinformation ? what do you intend to gain by misinforming the public ? it's either you are ignorant or you are outrightly mischievous, because most of the victims are actually igbos and very few northerners, pls stop heating up the polity, by telling lies and carrying fake news. why not come here to see things for yourself, tribal bigot . |

NwaliE01:They use Igbos as means of winning back theie servitude to their masters. They saw the last protest as a pointer to loss of their slave status to their masters. That's why they are working overtime to return back to ass licking their masters. North was protesting, they were attacking southeast. |

Ezewuzie01:You are not Igbo by tribe. They have been provided a new settlement before Enugu and Ebonyi boundaries. Our Governor might not be doing everything correctly , but demolishing that place is better than constructing 50kilometre road. You won't understand. The past governor couldn't do it. I love Mbah for his courage and boldness... |
