Good day everyone. Doctors in the house please I need your help. We woke up this morning and noticed that the right testicle of my 3 years and 8 months old son is swollen. I mean it is bigger than the left side testicle. Please house, what could be the possible cause and solution. He doesn't feel pain on it but I'm worried about it. Thanks in advance. 5 Likes

mmmm see a doctor. Since he is 3 years old, if it's like a bag of water in one side, probably and most likely hydrocele, which can be corrected by minor operation and second scenario is hernia which is less likely because it's mostly caused by pressure from the abdomen. If it is painful , it may be testicular torsion. But most importantly go to hospital. 11 Likes 3 Shares |

He may have testicular torsion . Its a very painful condition . Please take him to the hospital ASAP. A quick intervention may save the testis , other wise it will be surgically removed . I had same thing some 20 years ago . it is very painful . please take him to a proper hospital ASAP. I was in boarding school when it happened to me and because of poor medical facility, it took almost 2 weeks before i was finally moved to a proper hospital where it was diagnosed .
