One Month Sit-At-Home: Imo CP Deploys Heavy Security To Targeted Areas by Noerection(op): 5:35am On Aug 30, 2024

Following the one month sit-at-home declared by the Simon Ekpa’s Biafra Liberation Army of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) from August 28 – September 28, the Imo State Police Commissioner, Aboki Danjuma has deployed a water tight security in all the targeted areas mentioned by the group.

To reassure staff of the State ministries, the CP personally led his men to the secretariat on Wednesday where he assured them of their safety.

During the visit, Danjuma engaged with the civil servants, assuring them of the Command’s readiness and commitment to their protection.

He equally told them that the command has detailed the mobilization of well-equipped operatives and promised the implementation of enhanced security strategies to ensure a safe working environment in the secretariat and other areas in the State.

“This strategic move underscores the Command’s dedication to upholding peace and security throughout the state”. Danjuma stated.

The one month lock down doesn't affect people going about their normal businesses, but it's strictly to shut down all Nigerian institutions in the Biafran territory.

Any Nigerian police, army or whatever that love his family and his life, should not be tempted, please stay clear and be safe for your family, I hate seeing policemen and army turned into a lifeless barbecue.

I think their main focus is on federal secretariat and state government secretariat, probably local governments too.

It is never and can never be possible

Nigerian government is the cause of all these problems. Their injustices against some people made some to carry arms against the government and these unguided armed/militias men seems to be last hope of the downtrodden.

I'm never in support of people taking up arms though.

As a south Easterner, I can beat my chest and tell you that nobody is listening to Ekpa. No lock down abi sit at home for one month is working. Ekpa can sit in his office in Finland for one and half months for all I care. Rubbish and ingredients.
