You are largely right. But, Icheku, Velvet tamarind (Dialium cochinchinense) is from trees in the rainforest region. not a Northern Tree. it grows in my village in Enugu in abundance. Eggplant is also not a crop with Northern Origins. 63 Likes 5 Shares
