He is not going to be on the bench as he is not part of the first team because he wasn't registered by Napoli for the new season, sitting out a full season will affect his valuation and won't be able to command such astronomical salaries in any future transfer.
By the way he is not going to be paid full salaries as all bonueses and other benefits will not be paid to him, only his basic salary.

Haaland has always been Haaland with or without KDB, his records at Salzburg, Dortmund and the Norwegian national team proves he is a lethal goal poacher no matter who is behind him.
