Regional government is greatly need at this time, Nigerians need to learn that centralized government is the cause of underdevelopment.
Imagine a ministry created for Nigeria Delta, building 500+ houses in Abuja huh
Exactly, but some part of the country will not be happy with it, reason Mr president is funding it difficult to adjust the country.

You are talking nonsense. Find the decree on the internet and read it. If you need a translation to your local language that can be arranged.
Ironsi's decree 34 put an end to regionalism. The 4 Regions existed as what? The mere existence of the Regions didn't make them autonomous states within the federation of Nigeria. That is what Ironsi took away with his decree.
The 4 Region's existed with resource control, what they did not have was democracy, as it was military rule.

But these liers are saying that Decree 34 abolished Region's, how can Region's be abolished when all 4 were existing with resource control under Ironsi?

So Google Gowons Decree 14, read how all 4 Region's were abolished, the 12 states that were created out of them. Then Google Decree 15 which ended resource control, all by Gowon.

exactly because they were hoping to rule other people's Regions but the move backfired on them till this day.

Those state will prefer a central government to regional, because of laziness

That why banditry is on the rise up north. If there is no monthly allocation, they will focus on security and development to attract investment into the region.

Who are ro dictate to us what to do? You must be a joker to think that we support you after kicking against our right for self determination
Odua4life:
My igbo brothers here is your chance to self determination and resource control. It doesn't come better than this. Now will you support a move that will lead to your freedom and self determination?. And ultimately national integration without suspicion.

We remember when Tinubu was championing regional government and the Sovereign National Conference, let us see whether he will implement all that he was shouting for, or whether it was just usual propaganda.

This slowpoke will call himself a graduate
gidgiddy:
Why do these people continue with their never ending lie? The January military coup of 1966 only took away democracy. Decree 34 was about the civil service, nothing more

All 4 Region's existed under Ironsi with full resource control, so how was your sovereignty thwarted? The only thing that was thwarted was democracy

It was Gowon that came after Ironsi, promulgated Decree 14 which abolished the 4 existing Region's, and created 12 states to replace them. Gowon then followed this up with Decree 15 which ended resource control. It was Gowon that introduced unitary rule by denying you control of your resources

Why can these people tell the truth for just once!

I will take this seriously if they will allow Igbos in other states back to south east geopolitical zone, anything else is a waste of time
no one is chasing igbos from Yorubaland what we are talking about is regional government.
