According to the 2024 Global Wealth Report by UBS, the average wealth per adult worldwide varies significantly, with Switzerland topping the list at $709,612. Other high-ranking countries include Luxembourg, Hong Kong SAR, and the United States, all surpassing $500,000 per adult. These nations often benefit from strong economies, foreign investments, and favorable tax policies, contributing to their high wealth per capita.

The report highlights that wealth distribution is uneven, with a significant concentration in a few wealthy individuals, particularly in smaller countries like Luxembourg and Singapore. Despite the overall increase in wealth, the percentage of adults in the lowest wealth band (below USD 10,000) has nearly halved since 2000.

Regions with the highest wealth per adult include Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), with over $166,000, followed closely by the Asia-Pacific (APAC) and the Americas.
