Unfortunately, that will NEVER happen, a brainwashed Igbo will gladly want Nigeria burned, they intentionally destroy the image of Nigeria here and abroad, Deliberately sell fake drugs and ignorantly end up killing themselves not knowing fake drug can not identify a person by tribe. They cannot leave a country they want to destroy, their children and generations to come will be alive to witness the mess they are creating.

If they like they should not develope their region, let them be waiting for a Biafra that only exist in their head, their region will remain like that for 100 or 200 or 1 million years, who cares?.

When the likes of Adaka Boro was leading Niger Delta secession movement, what was Ojukwu and Ironsi',s response?

What we do today na history for tomorrow
And we have all had the benefit of over 60 years to realise that keeping Nigeria together is a collosal mistake. No point continuing that mistake. Its time to dissolve Nigeria let everyone go their way

Healing! From who? Nobody cares whether Igbo heal or not from the war they brought upon themselves because of greed. If they misbehave more than they are doing now, they will be decimated again. Which healing?

So it will be "one Nigeria by force"? Now you know why there will never be peace or progress

"before Ojuku declared the
republic of biafra in may 1967
Isaac Adaka Boro an Ijaw man had declared the
Niger delta republic in february 1966.
Boro had formed the niger delta
volunteer force an armed militia with
members consisting mainly of his fellow
ethnic group declared the niger delta
republic on february 23 1966 and fought
nigeria's federal forces for 12 days but
they were eventually defeated and then
jailed by the Ironsi an Igbo man federal
military government [and Ojuku an Igbo man eastern governor] for treason"

But it was Gowon from Kanke Local Government Area in Plateau State that later set Boro free and Boro later became a major in the Nigeria army and helped to tame the Biafra army.

The Igbos started the civil war because they wanted to take the lands of the Niger Delta from the people that own the Niger Delta, because the Europeans came and created Nigeria.

That's the problem, no elected person has the mind to do so as Nigeria is a Limited company and it is only the shareholders that can desolve it.

oyatz:
1) Rwanda is a very small country compared to Nigeria.

2) Rwanda is fairly homogeneous.
The Rwandans, despite divisions into Twi, Hutu and Tutsi ,speak only one language called Banyarwanda and practice same culture.

3) Rwanda have abolished 'tribes' such that it is now illegal to call a Rwanda citizen Hutu or Tutsi, but you can simply call him a Rwandan

It is easier for Rwanda to move on and reconcile since they are more or less the same people.
MORE IMPORTANTLY
JUSTICE WAS SERVED IN RWANDA. THE TUTSI GOT POWER. SO THOUGH THEY WERE MASSACRED THE HUTU TRIBALISTS WERE CAUGHT. IN NIGERIA THE PERPETRATORS OF THE 1966 MASSACRES OF IGBOS WENT FREE AND EVEN GOT TO POWER IE THE MURTALAS... BUHARIS.. PLUS THEY DECIDED TO MARGINALIZE A MAJOR GROUP( THAT GROUP ARE NOT AND WILL NEVER BE DOCILE PEOPLE). FOR THOSE THINKING THIS IS THE 60S JUST KNOW THAT EVEN THEN BRITAIN US RUSSIA EGYPT N ETC WERE BACKING THE FG. NOW THESE COUNTRIES WILL RATHER TURN NIGERIA TO CONGO AND BE GRABBING THE OIL VIA THE DIFFERENT WARLORDS THAT WILL EMERGE. CONGO COMES TO MIND. THIS APC GOVT DO3SNT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE ABOUT TO TURN NIGERIA INTO. EVEN OUR ONCE LOVED NAIRALAND HAS BEEN TAINTED.

Same thing is happening everywhere in Nigeria, insecurity is out of hand in many places.

The point is that we have business continuing with this country that has long failed. We should all go our seperate ways

And if I may ask, are there perceived gains that readily come with going our separate ways? Going separate ways isn't the solution but to find a common ground to get things done

If you have been trying to find common ground since 1960, while things steadily get worse

It's common sense to try something else, such as separation

Are you even aware that southeast will be the greatest loser if your wish comes true. They have businesses scattered in every nook and cranny of this country to even places you won't imagine.

What do you think will happen to those means of livelihood they have laboured and sweated for all their lives. In my village, somewhere in Ekiti State, I can tell you boldly that igbos own the biggest stores there, drug store, provision store, bear parlour, clothing stores etc. in some cases, these stores occupied a whole building. They have built their own houses and their children are passed for full Yorubas.

That's only in the West. What about the north and south south? The story is the same. You expect people like this to just pack their bags and leave because of failed politicians and some handful of disgruntled elements in the political terrain. Separation will benefits some and hurt some pretty badly.

Solution is reaching out to ourselves with all honesty of purpose.

Make politicians dey use una dey play politics. Apart from divide and rule, this came up because of Edo election because of Peter obi popularity in Edo. It's just to make Edo people not to vote for labour party.

All those claiming ibo and Edo are not in most posts. It's paid content creators. Benin people has never had any issues with the igbos because some Igbo towns trace their origin to Edo. So there is no way an Igbo man will insult the OBA.

These guys are playing a very dirty politics in Nigeria and if they don't retract with all these divisions they are causing, it may not end well for our dear country.

Don't Chinese have businesses all over Nigeria? Do you know the amount of businesses Lebanese have in Nigeria? Do you know the amount of Businesses Indians have in Nigeria? But there is China, Lebanon and Indi. I don't know if you people have been brainwashed to believe that you must be a citizen of a country to own businesses in a country?

No amount of investment is worth ones independence and freedom, particularly in a failed country whose union has been a collosal disaster

The countries you mentioned, where they ever part of Nigeria? Those business came as a result of diplomatic relations extending to several years. Before that kind of diplomatic relations can be established between countries Nigeria is divided into many atrocities would have been committed against several individuals. Such separation will bring with it animosity and anarchy for some years b4 they will begin to sit at round table to discuss matters of interest.

These are many of the thing you troglodytes don't think about b4 talking and insulting. Those with substance are scared of your wish coming true but the accidents who have nothing to lose are the ones championing the life threatening undertaking

I don't know if there's something wrong with you guys. The Nigeria you talk about today was the creation of the British from Europe. Do you think you own Nigeria? Did you as an African create it? Even that name "Nigeria", which you proudly answer, was created in London by a white woman

We were all brought together by the white man in 1914, in 1960, the white man left. It was for us to see if we could be together. We have fought civil war, killed ourselves in the millions, and Nigeria gets worse every day

For how long will we continue with this failure of a country where the economy gets worse, insecurity gets worse, inflation gets worse, and hatred gets worse?

Let's tell ourselves the truth, Nigeria has long failed, conduct a referendum, let all those ethnic groups that the British brought together choose their fate, and we go our seperate ways

That the white man brought us together does not mean we must be together forever

We are all facing it together until you people finally have sense. Meanwhile, other regions are developing but you chose to leave yours like that because of a Biafra that will never happen...you will remain in stone age while other regions advance.
