I am a Chelsea fan. I think the way Chelsea has handled this transfer issue with Oshimen is too disrespectful. If Oshimen was white, he wouldn't have been treated this way being priced down and under valued — loaning a top striker like Osimhen with option to buy and re-negotiate a reduced wage is not fair enough deal for him. What if they Chelsea decide not to sign him after the loan? The implication for that is, his market value will greatly diminish.


Osimhen too is somehow too greedy, not compromising enough to accept Chelsea's contract due to reduced wage indicates he is in the business of football to make that money and not for the love/passion of the game.

if you're Osimhen, will you go to Chelsea at a reduced wage when in the peak of your career? The blame is on Chelsea. Even if they won't increase his pay, why not maintain status quo as regards remuneration?

Listen, I'm not saying that Haaland is not a good striker; my point is people should not say Osimhen is an average striker because of Afcon and Napoli's last season. Osimhen is a quality striker; he is better than Lukaku. Napoli just prefer Kvaratskhelia to him for reasons known to them. Norway wasn't at the Euros because one quality striker alone cannot do the job. There was also Marco Reus at Dortmund! At Salzburg, I found that he played with Minamino, Adeyemi, Dominik Szoboszlai; arguably not world class (what I expect you to say); but they were good enough for the Austrian league, occasionally causing shocks in the champions league. A striker needs quality mid-fielders; there was a time De Bruyne was injured last season, and the goals dipped for Haaland.

How is Osimhen better than Lukaku ?
Osimhen has had just one good season in Europe, last season he was fucking poor. Lukaku has more Series A goals and assists than Osimhen, scored 87 goals in 119 games for the Belgian national team. So tell me where Osimhen is superior to Romelu.
Haaland was scoring goals in KDB's absence that's why he went home with the golden Boot at the end of the season.
Osimhen is not on Erling's level, don't even compare. Osimhen has had just one 20 plus goal season in Europe, Haaland hit 20 plus goals every league season.
Mitrovic, Teemu Pukki, Michu, Walkings, Ivan Toney and many others has gone on consistent scoring run with average midfielders.
Osimhen is good but not as much as he is being hyped.
