31% 9f what?

You need to be less tribalistic so that you can think clearly. The figure you are referring to is the number of people that generally approach the DNA centers for tests generally.

It further states that 27% of tests generally came back negative. I think that's clear enough. Stop being stupid. Even oyinbo man self dey experience paternity fraud.

I am so ashamed for our youths and their level of comprehension of simple write-ups such as the one under discussion. The 3rd poster, Odingo, derailed the topic in favor of ethnic bashing because he didn’t understand the post,. Almost all the other responders went along with the wrong opinion of Odibgo and ran with it.

The survey was talking about the ratio of people who took DNA test and their locations, both within Lagos and outside of Lagos; the age of kids being tested and the purposes for which the test was done in the first place. The DNA survey was not talking about which tribe fornicate the most!

The greatest wrong our leaders have done to our youths is: the miseducation of our youths.

It also showed that the Yoruba ethnic group accounted for 53 per cent of tests, followed by Igbo (31.3 per cent), with Hausa at only 1.20 per cent.

The statistics showed that most of the children tested were aged 0-five (54.0 per cent), suggesting a preference for early paternity confirmation.

News aside. If at all these can be termed news,

The stats don’t add up at face value.
Mathematicians in the house can affirm to this.

Don’t swallow every information “line n sinker”.

Hausa don’t cheat because of their religion there is no much freedom in Islam and their is high tendency of killing the woman according to sharia, make it free for them, the result maybe higher. For Yorubas, they still practice much polygamy thereby having high tendency of infidelity. For Igbos, some of their ladies will fall for money even in marriage.
Who told you, do you know the kind abortion they do whenever they realize they are pregnant for another man? Hmmmmmm do even go there because what they do at night whenever they go for their night Arabic reading you will nit say this.

I'm not even surprised with this report, when I was doing my NYSC in one of the states in the west, you needed to see how girls troop into my neighbors room by name Femi.

Infact, this young man can sleep with more than 5 girls in a day.

I will be in my room and be hearing their different moans..

The worst is always in the night.. I will just be praying for day to break, so that I will go to my PPA.

This Femi tried to woo me because he thought I was like their girls. Lmao.

Abii is it Iya Tope, that works in the ministry of transport? This woman will just be bringing men into her room. At first I thought she wasn't married. But the day her daughter came back from Abeokuta and I started hearing her call the woman mommy. I was like.. wtf.

I later found out from the girl that their dad was in Abeokuta and it was the person she visited.

From my experience in the west, I think Infidelity & promiscuity in marriage are part of yoruba culture.

There are no consequences for infidelity in yoruba culture. Both the girls and boys are so loose.
The more you look, the more you see... Infidelity is not part of Yoruba culture... And no real Yoruba family will condone infidelity, especially when a woman is promiscuous. The woman you said is Iya tope, has been separated from her husband, I learnt this from your explanation here. Do you know if it was her promiscuous life got her separated from her husband or she was been chased from her husband's house?

No culture will condone such nonsense of bringing a man to the matrimonial home... Yoruba culture frowns at infidelity ...

The article isn't about test result but percentage of total tests conducted.

If they do it by regions, Yoruba will still score higher because of high polygamous rate in South West, one man cannot satisfy many women and Islamic laws is not strong in SW because Yorubas are more civilised.
Let's wait till then. But I don't know how you came about polygamy being higher in the southwest. If you say, as against other regions in the South, maybe, but not higher than everywhere else. And, forget about Islamic law or anything, infidelity is rife, even in the North.

It’s because of this mind set that a lot of them don’t know that most of their children are not theirs. I got a Fulani lady pregnant but I insisted that she removed it. She did not want to remove. Go to Kano and see for yourself.

You must be joking. The major reason is standard of living and illiteracy. Only a few people over there have enough money to do that and majority of them are illiterate

The report is a sponsored one.

The Yoruba's are not even the most populous in Nigeria, how come they are leading in this category?

The target is to discredit the Yoruba's ahead of 2027 election.

Same way they tried to discredit the northerners with the same report.

The Igbo's are not leading in any category but as usual, they are the ones benefiting from the propaganda
You keep displaying poor mental logic, education is really falling.

So Igbos sponsored this report and it favoured Hausas? What's the level of your IQ ?

It states that 53% of those that took the tests were Yorubas. It does not mean that 53% of those who failed the test were Yorubas. So where is the insinuation that Yoruba women were promiscuous coming from?
In Yoruba land, do you expect more of the people of other tribes to take the test given the population distribution in Yoruba land?
Thanks for the explanation.

There's a very high rate of adultery in Hausa marriages. Many male corpers can attest to that.

The man can't satisfy 4 wives. It isn't easy. Despite having 4 wives, the man will still cheat. His wives won't remain figure 8 forever. Checkout ex governor Bello's 3 wives.

I suspect there's less frequency of paternity tests amongst them due to them not only being poorer than the 2 major tribes, but a large percentage of them are uneducated, due to their distaste for western education

How can a DNA testing centre reveal their customer demogrqphy by trobe?! This is the worst self-destruction I will ever see a brand do to itself, and I will make sure it hauts them forever.

Let me go and give them some very fitting online reviews. They call themselves "Smart DNA, but have proven to be extremely dual. Today they've revealed the tribes of the customers, tomorrow they will revealed their religion and state of origin, then eventually they will post the names and pictures, including whether or not the tests were negative or positive.
