But was Mbappe left out of the team?
That is how football operates if a player wants to force out a move and it did not materialize the club will replace him and move on until a suitable offer comes to offload him so its not a new thing, Ronaldo was treated same by Man Utd before he forced himself out to All Nassr...

His career is gone, he won't be d same after the end of this season, his market value will crash, his form is gone, his greed that didn't make him go to Chelsea, he's going to beg for lower amount after this season.

Foolish arrogant player. undecided
No mind them, instead of them to tell him the truth, they won't....

This is the same reason Chelsea rejected him, because he was unwilling to take pay cut down, just for a year loan to play and then they will increase his pay if he perform well, but he refused, that was why they backed out

Playing time?
I believe this is a joke
Are you saying you will prefer to play more and earn less?
We are talking about potentials here, this guy is still young and have the opportunity to make more money in the future.
We know players that tried playing for money and ended up broke also, so it is important he reaches his peak as well b4 playing for money, i could remember when messi was offered such pay at saudi but he didnt fo with it. Oshimen's issue is not even about the pay but napoli just trying to mess him up, i strongly believe he would have left even with a wage lower than what he is taking now because he is already fed up with them.

Osimhen behaviour is the problem , he has been having issues with other players in the team , at a time he wasn't even greeting or talking to them , according to reports the way ns manner he spoke to the directors was bad , this is exactly what etim rain was saying Nd warning osimmeh about that it is another thing to be talented and another thing to be disciplined. Etim warned osimhen, now women is learning .

Osinmhen is still young, he should just see out his contract. Last last dem go beg am or terminate his contract. Napoli cannot afford to lose him for free. He should never have renewed but now that he is in this position, he should play hard ball. They are the ones who messed up the Saudi transfer by jerking up the price after they had agreed a price with the Saudi club causing them to switch to toney.

If it were me I will make sure Napoli do not get a fee for me.
..victor osihem did not want to go to Saudi Arabia and also did not want to go to Chelsea on loan ... that he wanted Chelsea to pay his release clause of £100 m and weekly wages of 500k per week

I don’t get your point or the relevance of this to what I posted.

In the post you responded to I said Osinmhen did not refuse to play or force his way out of Napoli.

Maybe you thought you were responding to someone else.

Oga it's not possible, he still has age on his side... A season without playing time is not the worst thing that can happen to a footballer, especially a young one.

Lessons Learnt on Osimhen Saga:

1) Don't be too full of yourself, you can always be replaced.

2) The fact that you want to leave your current employer doesn't mean you have to destroy your relationship. Relationship is always key

3) Money isn't everything. Value is.
Oga rest... I don't agree with ur number 2, what if ur employer is hindering ur career progress, must u maintain good relationship with such person before resigning?

Yep the clubs had agreed a fee and waiting for Osinmhen to accept. Suddenly Napoli increased the fee, causing the Saudi club to make an offer to Brentford for Toney. Not that Osinmhen had accepted but that was where the deal for Saudi collapsed. By that time Saudi were no longer interested as they can only buy 1 foreign player.

Stop thinking like a slave.

How did he destroy their relationship?

Napoli is run by ASSHOLES.

They had agreed a fee with Al Ahli, and at the last minute, added a $5 million fee on top, leading to Al Ahli’s angry withdrawal.

HOW THE FCK IS THAT OSIMHEN’S FAULT?
I don't blame you for this comment. You lack understanding of life. There's nothing like thinking like a slave. It's common sense. I hope you have it.

The first comment there is reality and the truth. Napoli did bad things to him but not all of Naples. The fans loved Osimhen. Some members of their administration may not buy you can't use the attitude and actions of a few people to judge the whole. I know you may be referring to the penalty incident and the social media post but the club dealt with it. Osimhen attitude from them had not been ok, and to refuse training or pre season because he felt he could leave at any time was pride on his part. He signed a contract with a release clause. Whose fault? He was not forced, He signed himself because he wanted more money. He felt he could command a high fee of over €100m at that time but that's not the reality. His stock really fell last season because of Napoli's form. He should have known that, put his head down, work hard and get on with it. He felt he was big, not knowing that his stock had fallen and his release clause was high. He was now at the mercy of that same club he had refused pre season. Napoli had every right to increase the fee because what Al Alhi offered was less than the signed release clause. They were doing Victor a favor by lowering it, because he signed it. If he didn't want it, he would not have signed it as his contract was already up by this season and he would leave on a free like Mbappe but he signed. So, he had no right to question Napoli because he signed it. He would have done what Sterling did and sought for a loan but he so much wanted to leave Napoli. Even if he wanted to do that, he would at least play pre season and be a normal player until he leaves. My team Arsenal sold 4 players that wanted to leave but they were professionals till the end and the club did everything to help them move on.

I hope you have learnt.

I was thinking same way while reading the news post. Osimeh wouldn't have been anything without Napoli. He was given a level playing ground and the opportunity to grow. Now, he messed up the whole thing. Na greed dey kill our boys. I hope his career won't end abruptly with the current development. Ronaldo wey go Saudi, na retirement money him go collect. He had made his money. You're still a hustler, you for stay for your Napoli jeejely cos Chelsea na dream killer. How many of his peers are earning his kind of money in Europe? What a wasted opportunity.

Osimhen is losing nothing

He gets paid
Napoli won't win Serie A
He will play well for his country
A desperate top club will come for him in January because nobody doubts his quality

The problems here are human - transfer fee, salary, pride, stubbornness - from both parties.
Play well for which country, the country he hasn't played in each of their 4 world cup qualifying matches

That's why it is good to keep quiet sometimes, infact, a lot of times. So that you are not judged or misconstrued from the things you say. Somehow, I feel all his reactions and outbursts are hunting him.
Take a look at Mikel for example, nobody knew he was this vocal while he was playing - I thought he was deaf and dumb, not until recently he started saying a lot of things...
Lolz, ororo dey your head for this talk.
Osimhen thought he has arrived and can do no wrong. The arrogance in him just puts him into the mess he is now and if he doesn't check it will land him in more troubles

Most of you are intellectually dull.
Really I don't agree with him saying his career is gone. Maybe that's not how he wanted to say it. But to buttress his point, if care is not taking Osimhen may loose his relevance in football
