Sharing of estate in Islam has been structured from Almighty Allah and is stipulated in the Quran. To be candid a non Muslim is not entitled to the estate of a non Muslim, the first wife is not in the equation and if any of her children is not in a practicing and a know Muslim’s the will not get from the inheritance. A Muslim is not to benefit from a Christian inheritance also

I will not agree with you that the woman is selfish. If the law permits you to have 100% of something and you claim it, that does not make you selfish. The man who knew he would marry another woman should not have opted for statutory marriage ab initio. He was even lucky that the woman did not send him to jail for bigamy while he was alive. That will serve as a lesson to those who want to eat their cake and still retain the cake.
