A GUO Transport driver has allegedly threatened to kill passengers who report him to the company’s management following complaints about his unruly behavior during a trip from Lagos to Aba.

The alarming incident has left passengers outraged and concerned for their safety.

Passengers who boarded the bus at GUO’s Old-Ojo station in Lagos were initially scheduled to depart at 7:00 am yesterday, August 31, but due to delays from the station managers, the bus did not leave until 8:30 am. As the journey progressed, the driver, identified as Nonso, reportedly drove them around Ogun State for three hours in search of fuel, further aggravating the already frustrated passengers.

When the passengers expressed their displeasure over the driver’s actions, Nonso allegedly responded with a chilling threat, stating that he would k!ll anyone who dared to report him to GUO management. This led to growing fear and tension among the passengers as the journey dragged on.

The situation deteriorated further when the bus finally reached Owerri at 1:00 am, far behind schedule. Exhausted and frustrated, the passengers were allegedly then asked to disembark as the driver decided to end the trip prematurely. He allegedly locked the bus and left the passengers stranded outside in the middle of the night.

Despite having paid N32,000 for the bus trip, the passengers were informed that they would not receive any refund. Instead, they were told to board a local bus to complete their journey to Aba, adding to their frustration and disappointment.

The driver is wrong to have done that.

The economic situation of the country keeps frustrating everyone, passengers, drivers, managers and companies alike. There is no fuel, too much security checkpoints along the roads, even as the thieves still worry the drivers, and bad roads to add an icing to the cake of troubles.

Instead of losing his cool and threatening passengers, he should have explained to them that he cannot find fuel, and that he cannot continue at such late hours because of their safety.

Simply a mad man ..

Perhaps they should report GUO Transport to someone for not filling the bus with fuel before it left Lagos so the driver is not frustrated looking for fuel in Ogun State!

Nothing will happen. I had once left Ibadan 8am landed in calabar 4am the following day. (Transport company) cross country.

The driver should thank his star that violent people no dey inside that bus else dem go kill am and burnt the motor before leaving the place and nothing go happen

I remember one year like that, we were going to Port Harcourt from Ibadan on PMT, the driver showed us shege with a little touch of banza. Those drivers seem to be frustrated all the time.

Many people are depressed. Reason I have told myself, driving, especially in Lagos requires High level of sanity. GUO Motor better sack him, before he throw passengers to Ore river.

God bless u. How will a company that collect 35k and don't have at list full tanke. Lagos to ogun should not even drink up 20lit of petrol.

Anyone in the driver's position would also be frustrated... Imagine spending 3 hours searching for petrol when you still have a journey that will take you at least 8 hours!

Na unemployment dey call this driver and after he is relieved of his job with his already escalated videos and pictures, it will be difficult for companies to accept him for employment in future.

Same thing last week Friday. Lag to Umuahia.

The bus didn't leave Lagos till around 10:30.

He loaded Benin, Asaba etc. Stopped severally to look for passengers.

Was rude, insulting, nonchalant and arrogant.

Ended up close to Onitsha and said he's ended his journey.

Refused to refund, refused to stop in a good park.

Parked his vehicle in a deserted place, locked his passengers and started smoking weed right inside the vehicle.

Two things are involved!
There's frustration in the country. You suffer to get things with your money.
The insecurity situation in the country which instil fear to the passangers.

Glad he has given the company a bad name. Expect people to start ditching GUO

That is how these eastern drivers behave, like demons. Peace Mass, Ifesinachi, GUO, Abia line, all their drivers exhibit the same madness. Everytime I am traveling to and fro East, I must experience a very uncouth, senseless driver who acts just the same way. I haven't had any one threaten to kill us passengers but the insensitivity and senselessness in them, I encounter that every time.
