Miss South Africa: "Meet You In Mexico, Chidimma" (PICS) by WannaHowzit(op):
Miss SA 2024 Mia Le Roux has congratulated Chidimma Adetshina on her crowning as Miss Universe Nigeria over the weekend.

The beauty queens – who were friends and fellow contestants at the local pageant – will meet again at the Miss Universe finale in November.

Just three weeks ago, Chidimma – whose father is Nigerian and mother is Mozambican – stepped down from Miss SA pending an investigation by the Department of Home Affairs (DHA) into possible identity fraud. Days later, she accepted an invitation to participate in the Nigerian pageant.

Her win has since sparked controversy amongst Nigerians.

On her Instagram Story, Miss SA Mia Le Roux sent a special shout-out to Chidimma Adetshina.

“Congratulations on your win! I will see you in Mexico”, the partially deaf title-holder said of her now pageant rival.

In recent weeks, Mia has defended Chidimma against critics amid a DHA investigation.

Speaking to Newzroom Afrika, Mia claimed that Chidimma did not deserve to receive the hate on social media.

She said: “It was extremely hard for us because each one of us personally knows and loves Chichi. We truly believe that she did not deserve it, as we know she’s phenomenal, powerful, and beautiful in her own right. She deserved her spot on Miss South Africa.

Responding to Chidimma’s critics, the Miss SA queen said, “I stand for unity. I do not stand for people being divided. So, I do think we can do better in that aspect to support and include one another. Because she was excluded, and that is not okay.”

Mia also told BBC News: “No one deserves to be bullied. I think she will do a great job. She is a beautiful woman, and maybe I will see her at Miss Universe”.

The 73rd Miss Universe pageant will held in Mexico on 16 November 2024.

Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua will crown her successor at the end of the event.

Very hilarious. So a white Lady is more South African than a 1st generation black South African. Interesting times and precedence.

Hilarious that Japagerians were REJECTED in caps lock 👎🏾🇳🇬😂😂😂

Read a book once in a while and realise SA has millions of whites - sometimes they'll become Miss SA. Sh!tgbo ingrates are a minority hence thrown in the bin, plucked out by shambolic Miss Universe Nigeria and ordeaned as the winner (who's not actually the winner) 👎🏾🇳🇬💩💩💩💩💩💩

Nothing hilarious there.

The same way a white caucasian is more American or Australian than the native and aboriginal people who populated those lands before they were settled by the white people who built the country you now know and displaced the native population.

Same way black slaves were used to displace the natives of Guyana in SouthAmerica.

Even Black SouthAfricans had to fight for their rights and end apartheid before they were allowed to contest in the Miss SouthAfrican pageant that was established by the white settlers who built the country.

Mia Le Roux is probably one of many descendants of French Huguenots who with Dutch Boers/Afrikaners, settled at the bottom of the African Continent and formed the country they chose to call SouthAfrica. The only challenge they had was that the native population remained the majority and could not be silenced forever unlike what the whites achieved in America, Canada, Australia or New Zealand with the silencing of the native population that became minority.

Your point?

Your point?
And your point is that Miss SouthAfrica started in 2019?

Why not list all the past winners so we see how it used to be a Whites only competition?

Or is that not a White outgoing SouthAfrican Queen that is crowing the new Black SouthAfrican Queen in 2019, with many White contestants in the background.

Even Black SouthAfricans know they are only participating in that competition because the Apartheid policy was abolished.

The Blacks were previously not considered SouthAfrican enough to contest in a competition of a country where they are the majority race.

Don't be dumb. Use Google to empower yourself and not just to suck white bum 🇳🇬👎🏾💩💩💩

There are dozens of black Miss SA's since democracy.

I am happy you mentioned since democracy, meaning end of Apartheid in the 1990s.

Yet that Miss SouthAfrica pageant has existed for many decades before the 1990s.

So what exactly are you trying to disprove when you are only buttressing my point?

So blacks were "accommodated" in South Africa. Interesting logic.

Now you get the point.

The minority whites settlers who formed and built the country, had to eventually accommodate the Black majority who are original to the land.

So no Black SouthAfrican would dare challenge the legitimacy of a White SouthAfrican to contest and win a competition that the Whites themselves inaugurated.

For crying out loud! Are people really saying that just because someone's white, they can't be Nigerian or South African? I believe there are whites in Africa, Nigeria, correct?

If a person is born and raised in Nigeria or South Africa, they're just as much Nigerian or South African as anyone else, regardless of their skin colour! If anyone disagrees with me, then do we say a black person can't be British just because they're not white?
I mean If we can't even acknowledge that people come in different colours without being accused of racism, then we're in a sad state!

Yes, there are white South Africans(South Africa is a diverse country ), and yes, they're just as South African as anyone else! And no, their skin colour doesn't make them any less South African!
It's okay to be white, and it's okay to be proud of who you are, without being accused of being a racist!

You were the one who introduced the 2019 pageant to the discourse, there was nothing particular about it for me to limit my arguments to that year.

All your picture did was to prove my point that White SouthAfricans allow Black SouthAfricans to participate since Apartheid was now over.

I am only telling a factual history of SouthAfrica to the fellow who is surprised that Black SouthAfricans can tolerate a White SouthAfrican winner, but cannot tolerate a 1st generation SouthAfrican that was born in the country.

I am educating that fellow to know that it is even the White SouthAfricans that are tolerating all Black SouthAfricans to participate in a pageant that the Whites established.

Interesting sense of worth! Read between the lines and pick the right fight.
I've got no problems with a white winning Miss SA. Up to you to reject immigrants; your call.
I live among whites and I know that a black American (didn't say an African American) will Never be considered more American than a first generation caucasian American by whites! Interesting times.

Stating facts cannot be whiteworshipping.

Or have Black SouthAfricans ever overstepped their boundaries to challenge the participation of any white SouthAfrican the way they challenged a fellow Black SouthAfrican born candidate?

Who then is doing the whiteworshipping?

And to further confirm that the Whites have no regard for their black compatriots despite kicking out a fellow Black SouthAfrican, they selected a White SouthAfrican as the winner of the same pageant to show who is the boss and which race is foolish.

I don't know that SAns are really very dumb. You pursued the lady away from SA and still want to pursue her to failure after she embraced another country. While you think you can use miss Kwara that is less attractive to hinder this girl's chances and you people voted for her en masse to the point that the miss Kwara eventually won the online version, you never knew how smart Bruce family are. You think you have a say in their family businesses and can influence who they think can win. They are smarter than all SAns put together. They made sure you contributed financially to the success of their company. You blindly voted and paid them well. Same thing of what you did during the Bolt ride saga , while Nigerians were cancelling for free, you were paying money for the company here in Nigeria. Bruce family cashed out off your ignorance and hatred, and they also created sympathy for the lady which eventually will make her to be put on global attention during the main event. You people are so dumb honestly.
