Are Nigerians And Other African Countries Buying Stolen Car? by JAPAHTML(op): 5:19pm On Sep 01, 2024
Greetings my people
There's something that have been bothering me for a while now, I am the type that love Cars when I say car am talking of Luxury cars, so I do watch a lot of videos of Expensive rides like Lamborghini, Ferrari, Rolls Royce, Bugatti etc

What amazes me is that whenever I come across this kind of Car in a video where it's on Nigerian road or one kind African Rural area (sometimes Urban too), you will see a lot of Comments from whites Folks even Black people are not left out, they will be saying that the car is stolen when you try to Argue with them, a lot of people will drag you trying so hard to convince you that it's a stolen car
Now my question is Are we buying stolen car in this part of the world?
Can a Rolls Royce phantom be stolen without trace? Cos I find it to believe that someone can just steal a Lamborghini and sell it
Like steal it from who? Sell to who ? How do you ship the car?
Is there Any record that shows that we buy stolen cars? Luxury ones for that matter?
Someone please Educate me it's getting out of hand

Some countries dont check goods going out of their country they only focus on things coming in. Canada for example operates a province system which means data is maintained by different provinces . People steal cars from Ontario and drive it 6 hours to the port in Quebec. The car records are in Ontario database which the Quebec guys have no access to or before police investigation is done. The shipping companies simply load it once you pay shipping fees. And its gone to Nigeria, Ghana, or Middle East

My own is in Nigeria, where is the fuel with octane value >90 sold in the country? I don't see why a car should be driven in a place where the basic fuel requirement isn't supposedly available.

Tell your Oyinbo friends their great grand dad came to Africa and stole humans as slave, Scammed our fore fathers of their inheritance and stole Africa Natural resources all in the name of them being higher animals. I don't condone the stealing of vehicles but the white people too are no saint when it comes to stealing.

So we should only drive when such fuel becomes available 😂

The engine go spoil quick. So back to square one. Hopefully, the Dangote refinery has such a category of fuel and petrol station owners have a dedicated pump for it.

Seems you're not a Nigerian. People use cars for ywra with no engine issues.

Truly some luxury cars are specced to run on premium fuel but many brands do just fine with our petrol.

It is the luxury brands I am most concerned about as that is the focus of this thread.
