Op is obviously a depraved African with extra colomentality on steroids.

You do not realize the quality of life and culture a man that has risen to be a bank manager has, but long for the grass is greener on the other side.

Another deranged African also said life is better lost in the sea and desert, to slave traders and organ donors or sellers than being shipped into slavery on sugarcane plantations. True because you pay through your nose selling all you have to buy tickets and visa to "achieve" the same sugarcane plantations beds overseas.

It shows you what we had been reduced to when they handed us Bibble and Koran in exchange for gold and slaves.

Of course good infrastructure anywhere makes life easier for poor or working class but that is not the definition of civilized life which is simply ability to live peacefully with one another. Village life where you get enough to eat and drink is what rich people are longing for in rich countries

For the information of Op, life is rougher for lower class worker in America than African middle class. Indeed, their life expectancy is lower as the infant mortality is higher.

Their chances in correctional facilities and being shot are higher than in African countries. So called "good" education for your children is how to deride your culture and deprive you of your children and wives.

Ah, some Africans are irredeemable.
I get your point. But the issue that should be brought to the fore, is our successive government failed to provide some of the basics of life that would make a said bank manager enjoy his wealth in his own country. Quality of life is not and shouldn't be measured in terms of earnings alone. Imagine making so much money and spending half on fuel for your car and home. Paying exorbitant school fees, bad road, traffic jams, insecurities etc. Our govt need to fix the basic amenities of life to make us enjoy working in our own country. I don't think it's a mentality thing. But I also don't think a cleaner's job is better than manager job. The OP is also misrepresenting the facts. From the points mentioned, it's all about living in a sane country where things works and having a gainful employment but not limited to a cleaner. I think even the cleaner will struggle to pay his bills with cleaner salary especially when he has a family to take care of. That's why most of them have a 2nd job.

A toilet cleaner can buy a 2003 corolla with a months salary. Bank manager monthly salary can’t buy same car in Nigeria 🥴

I think that might be a starting point for some persons as they arrive, they might do that and proceed to the net stage, by gaining some certifications ,this is how abroad works, you don't just come in and start at the top or middle, you grow as much as you are being paid on this journey
You understand better. Some who start small as caregiver, progress and acquire more certifications that will take them to the next level.

You are correct in everything typed here.
I started feeling governance since I relocated to the United States.
Even if you offer me the job of the Chief Medical Director of UCH IBADAN, UNTH, I will never never never never never never never never never never never never return to Nigeria to accept such a Mammywater offer.
The reason is simple and here it's....
At my age now my quality of life & sanity are of priority to me owing to the mental damage Nigeria caused me. There's more to life than constituting nuisance and blowing sirens everywhere. Those are ultimate.
Your eye go soon clear!

That's not true. I know toilet cleaners today that own cars. The job is called JANITOR here and I personally know some that own cars..nice cars for that matter.

This might differ according to city and state though. Have a good day.

You don't own any land in Nigeria. Plenty Nigerian immigrants in Anglo-Western countries own multiple homes.

Most people in Nigeria are poor. You're among the few lucky ones and MANY people like you continue to flee Nigeria.

Anyway I've over discussed this issue. Nigeria is the Poverty Capital of the World. Sorry!!!

Good Luck to Nigeria

When we say a toilet cleaner in USA, Canada, UK, Australia is better than the manger of zenith bank, what we mean is that the toilet cleaner will never suffer what you are currently suffering in Nigeria.

Example include:

A. A toilet cleaner will never queue for fuel.
B. A toilet cleaner is less likely to be kidnapped in those countries
C. A toilet cleaner has 24/7 electricity.
D. A toilet cleaner has access to excellent Medicare.
E. A toilet cleaner is less likely exposed to armed robbers
F. A toilet cleaner eats better food and fruits than your bank manager.
G A toilet cleaner has access to good amenities
H. A toilet cleaner may have his children schooling for free in primary and high school
I. A toilet cleaner has a longer live expectancy than your bank manager in Nigeria.
Keep lying to ur self. Ask a cleaner abroad and let him or her give u a honest advice. Maybe u will clear u head from the ideaology

Look. One thing you guys need to understand is that OVER THE LONG TERM, Nigeria will eventually get it right.

Nigeria is an unstoppable train.

I asked AI (ChatGPT)

''TELL ME ABOUT NIGERIA IN THE YEAR 2075''

It's response:

........................

In 2075, Nigeria is a dynamic and influential powerhouse in Africa and globally, shaped by its rich history, vast resources, and resilience. The nation has undergone significant transformations, leveraging its demographic advantage, technological advancements, and natural resources to redefine its role on the world stage.

Population and Demographics
With a population that has surpassed 400 million, Nigeria remains the most populous nation in Africa. The population is youthful but has also aged since the mid-21st century, with life expectancy rising due to improved healthcare. The country's population is diverse, with over 500 ethnic groups, though urbanization has led to a blending of cultures in megacities like Lagos, Abuja, and Kano. Nigeria's urban population exceeds 75%, with sprawling cities that are hubs of innovation, culture, and commerce.

Economy and Infrastructure

Nigeria's economy in 2075 is highly diversified, moving beyond its historical reliance on oil. The country has become a leader in renewable energy, particularly solar power, given its geographical advantages. Advances in agriculture, driven by technology and sustainable practices, have made Nigeria a key player in global food security. The manufacturing sector, supported by automation and AI, is robust, producing everything from advanced electronics to green technologies.

Transportation infrastructure is futuristic, with high-speed rail networks connecting major cities, and autonomous electric vehicles dominating the roads. Lagos, often called the "Silicon Lagoon," rivals global tech hubs like Silicon Valley and Shenzhen, with a thriving ecosystem of startups and tech giants.

Governance and Society

Politically, Nigeria is more stable, having navigated through decades of democratic consolidation. Governance is enhanced by digital transparency, reducing corruption, and fostering greater citizen participation. The political landscape is marked by a strong federal structure, where states have significant autonomy, allowing for tailored approaches to development across the diverse regions.

Socially, the country has made strides in education and gender equality, with women holding significant positions in government, business, and academia. However, challenges remain, particularly in managing the socio-economic disparities that still exist, though these are less pronounced than in the past.

Technology and Innovation

Nigeria is at the forefront of technological innovation in Africa. The country has made significant investments in AI, biotechnology, and space exploration. Nigerian tech companies are global players, and the nation's space agency has launched satellites that contribute to global communications and environmental monitoring.

Education in Nigeria has transformed, with a focus on STEM fields, and universities in Nigeria are renowned for their research in medicine, engineering, and environmental sciences. Virtual reality and AI have become integral parts of education, making learning more accessible and tailored to individual needs.

Environment and Sustainability

Nigeria has taken bold steps to address the environmental challenges posed by climate change. The Niger Delta, once plagued by oil spills, has been rehabilitated, and the country has implemented widespread reforestation projects to combat desertification in the north. Nigeria's commitment to green energy and sustainable practices has positioned it as a leader in global environmental initiatives.

Water management and climate adaptation strategies have been crucial in ensuring that the growing population has access to clean water and can withstand the impacts of climate change, such as more frequent and intense droughts or floods.

Culture and Global Influence

Culturally, Nigeria continues to be a global trendsetter. Nollywood, the Nigerian film industry, is not only the largest in Africa but one of the most influential globally, shaping narratives and entertainment across continents. Nigerian music, fashion, and literature remain central to global pop culture.

On the global stage, Nigeria plays a key role in international diplomacy, trade, and security. It is a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council, reflecting its importance in global geopolitics. Nigeria's voice is crucial in addressing issues such as global inequality, climate change, and digital governance.

In summary, Nigeria in 2075 is a vibrant, forward-looking nation that has successfully harnessed its potential, overcoming challenges to become a beacon of progress in Africa and a major player on the world stage.

Let me share this life story here. I met someone who is a financial controller back in Nigeria, he earns 7 digits monthly in Nigeria. He relocated to UK, guess his first work is working in a warehouse.

He started working in a warehouse while pursuing certifications related to his course of study and work. He acquired lots of certifications and eventually land his dream job. If you see this guy now, he's swimming on money. Big boy and wealthy. Bought houses in UK, drove expensive cars. Something he may never have achieved in Nigeria in a short notice.

A toilet cleaner won't be kidnapped in Nigeria either. Use your brain.

Anyone in Nigeria with a cheap generator can have 24/7 electricity.

Not necessarily. There are very long waiting lists for operations and surgery in the UK's NHS for example. You have to wait YEARS for an operation in some cases. Many perish before their turn. Only the rich who can afford the monstrously expensive private hospitals can be guaranteed of ''excellent medicare''. SAME AS IN NIGERIA.

A toilet cleaner is more likely to be shot in America or stabbed in the UK, or get his house burgled, than meet any armed robbers in Nigeria.

WRONG. Toilet cleaners in the west are among the underclass who tend to eat cheap, processed foods like frozen pizza, frozen chips, and eat junk food. A Nigerian bank manger eats fresh, highly nutritious, natural, organic foods.

Not necessarily. Some of them live in terrible places a Nigerian bank manager could never live.

Free education is not new to Nigeria. How old are you?

What studies have you conducted to make that claim?

You can't just come online and make outrageous claims from your big, loud IPOB terrorist OUTCAST lips.
From someone who has experienced and is constantly experiencing home and abroad, the OP is right in most cases! Yes, it's not a bed of roses but if you go legally, you are better of than most people in Nigeria.

Yes you are right, no one does. But the fact stares straight in our faces. 1. The jobs you think you want are non existent. 2. Apart from "B" maybe, I live better than that toilet cleaner in “the abroad”. Plus I have my self esteem in tact because I am maximizing my gifts and talents. I am not living less than myself, just because I am looking for food to eat. I am not feeling less than myself just because of my skin color. I am not worried about my children being shot by a mass shooter or being injected with warped values in the name of free education. I can go on and on. But each to His own.

It is such a delusional people that sell all they have ...borrow money on top and go abroad believing life is definitely greener on the other side.... all that need to be done is to get there. When reality strikes .... they are stuck ... sufferation 24/7 ...wishing to return but they burnt the bridge after they crossed over. For this reason I'm always against the FG for airlifting them back home ... they should remain and enjoy the 24 hrs electricity ..and Medicare and all the advantages OP mentioned ... why return to the ehmmm ..."shit hole"?

On one point ... the average Nigerian .... regardless of status ... eats much healthier foods than than most Americans. We can agree that natural/organic foods are wayyy healthier than GMO and processed foods. In Nigeria most eat natural foods ....cannot afford the GMO's but in the US most cannot afford organic foods and resort to the unhealthy GMOs . And we wonder why the US has a high rate of health issues .. cancer..kidney failure ...liver problems .. overweight... a problem that is increasing in Nigeria because we want to eat the same like the Americans believing that what they eat is healthier. Check the ingredients on almost any American brand product ...cereals..juice .whatever ... you will see high fructose corn syrup ... a sweetener ... banned in Canada ..banned in the entire Europe but widely used in the US. Enough for healthy foods in the US.
