Now, do the comparison.
£42.24 × 30 days = £1267.2

Compare that to someone who is earning 400k assuming the person is living in the UK and is earning the 400k in pounds

Cleaners are poor everywhere
check the minimum wage in England please.
I dont think you realise that £1 is N2150 as we speak shocked shocked

When we say a toilet cleaner in USA, Canada, UK, Australia is better than the manger of zenith bank, what we mean is that the toilet cleaner will never suffer what you are currently suffering in Nigeria.

Example include:

A. A toilet cleaner will never queue for fuel.
B. A toilet cleaner is less likely to be kidnapped in those countries
C. A toilet cleaner has 24/7 electricity.
D. A toilet cleaner has access to excellent Medicare.
E. A toilet cleaner is less likely exposed to armed robbers
F. A toilet cleaner eats better food and fruits than your bank manager.
G A toilet cleaner has access to good amenities
H. A toilet cleaner may have his children schooling for free in primary and high school
I. A toilet cleaner has a longer live expectancy than your bank manager in Nigeria.
Leave Nigeria for us and go and be a cleaner abroad!
Simple thing

A toilet cleaner can work his/her way to top management.
Sidney James Weinber-former CEO of Goldman Sachs.. was a cleaner’s assistant .. and later became CEO.

Mary Barra - CEO of General Motors started working for GM from secondary school and rose to CEO..
And most importantly, a cleaner can change his/her career to become a doctor/lawyer/engineer unlike in Naija

There is nothing like minimum wage for cleaners in private sectors worldwide.
You earn as you work.

Its such a bad idea for one to pay upfront for their car when they can invest tha money in something that will bring money. However if buying a 90K car is ur cup of tea so be it, like that guy said if you like drive a lambo or a roly no one cares here.
You mentioned the cars your warehouse guys drive and I had to correct that warped impression you are trying hard to create.

Without apologies, you are typing nonsense. You are just unnecessarily hyped up. I advise you quit whatever you are smoking that made you to attempt to say toilet cleaner lives better than bank manager.

Though you made it clear that you are uneducated and it reflects in the way you type and reason. If you were miserable in Nigeria, some dudes are killing it in the same Nigeria.

You are living in a bubble. The West create that lifestyle to give you a false impression of who you truly are. You are even nobody in the states.

That's true which applies to everywhere. Most humans are average at best. Globally, the highest earners are few in number. The difference I've noticed between a country like Nigeria and other developed countries are the availability of economic opportunities to earn a good income.

And what do you say about a banker who has worked over 20 years and still doesn't have his own house? Impossible, you will say. But it is true. And not that he is wasteful or anything.
No bank manager cannot afford a mansion.

If you've been doing bank teller for years, and you call yourself a banker, well maybe you might not really be able to afford a house. Put things in the right perspective. Saying a toilet cleaner abroad is better than a bank manager in Nigeria is completely out of place. It shouldn't even be on the front page.

Well one of my CNAs at work used to be a bank manager in nigeria too. She didn’t have a choice as a new immigrant without support to do what you’d consider low wage job as a CNA. Now she’s done with nursing school and passed her Nclex. I’ll be orienting her if she’s lucky to get into the unit where she formerly worked as CNA. This woman is more than 10 years my senior. And she worked with “kids” who probably 20 years her junior as colleagues. You’ll never hear anything negative from her or about her behavior. I know a typical Nigerian madam can’t do that. Or a Nigerian oga.

There’s nothing wrong with a little humility because you’ll go a long way. She already has her eyes on advanced practice education as soon as she gains experience.
Meanwhile her former bank has been bought over in the time she was here and few other managers who worked with her have to be laid off.

I’m not saying everyone has to emigrate but she must have had her reason and I bet she’s glad she did. One thing that must pass is time. If you don’t like where you are, go for the next thing. Even if it requires a few months or years of discomfort to achieve the end goal. She didn’t let the fear of temporarily doing a low wage job stop her.
That doesn't mean shiit for those who don't plan to serve the system forever but already have their sight on how they want to be their own boss. My brother was laid off some years back during Soludo I guess, today he's far better serving himself.
Sometimes, our choices make or mar us. Imagine a professor migrating from India to Canada, only to be reduced to cab driver because there their education system wouldn't absorb him. Choices!

Those opportunities available for those you mentioned are not available to you. You are black and occupy the lowest rung of the ladder.

Do not deceive yourself. You need to work in certain settings, be part of the elites for you to imagine yourselves in those space. I am a US passport holder but I do not receive myself.

Look. One thing you guys need to understand is that OVER THE LONG TERM, Nigeria will eventually get it right.

Nigeria is an unstoppable train.

I asked AI (ChatGPT)

''TELL ME ABOUT NIGERIA IN THE YEAR 2075''

It's response:

........................

In 2075, Nigeria is a dynamic and influential powerhouse in Africa and globally, shaped by its rich history, vast resources, and resilience. The nation has undergone significant transformations, leveraging its demographic advantage, technological advancements, and natural resources to redefine its role on the world stage.

Population and Demographics
With a population that has surpassed 400 million, Nigeria remains the most populous nation in Africa. The population is youthful but has also aged since the mid-21st century, with life expectancy rising due to improved healthcare. The country's population is diverse, with over 500 ethnic groups, though urbanization has led to a blending of cultures in megacities like Lagos, Abuja, and Kano. Nigeria's urban population exceeds 75%, with sprawling cities that are hubs of innovation, culture, and commerce.

Economy and Infrastructure

Nigeria's economy in 2075 is highly diversified, moving beyond its historical reliance on oil. The country has become a leader in renewable energy, particularly solar power, given its geographical advantages. Advances in agriculture, driven by technology and sustainable practices, have made Nigeria a key player in global food security. The manufacturing sector, supported by automation and AI, is robust, producing everything from advanced electronics to green technologies.

Transportation infrastructure is futuristic, with high-speed rail networks connecting major cities, and autonomous electric vehicles dominating the roads. Lagos, often called the "Silicon Lagoon," rivals global tech hubs like Silicon Valley and Shenzhen, with a thriving ecosystem of startups and tech giants.

Governance and Society

Politically, Nigeria is more stable, having navigated through decades of democratic consolidation. Governance is enhanced by digital transparency, reducing corruption, and fostering greater citizen participation. The political landscape is marked by a strong federal structure, where states have significant autonomy, allowing for tailored approaches to development across the diverse regions.

Socially, the country has made strides in education and gender equality, with women holding significant positions in government, business, and academia. However, challenges remain, particularly in managing the socio-economic disparities that still exist, though these are less pronounced than in the past.

Technology and Innovation

Nigeria is at the forefront of technological innovation in Africa. The country has made significant investments in AI, biotechnology, and space exploration. Nigerian tech companies are global players, and the nation's space agency has launched satellites that contribute to global communications and environmental monitoring.

Education in Nigeria has transformed, with a focus on STEM fields, and universities in Nigeria are renowned for their research in medicine, engineering, and environmental sciences. Virtual reality and AI have become integral parts of education, making learning more accessible and tailored to individual needs.

Environment and Sustainability

Nigeria has taken bold steps to address the environmental challenges posed by climate change. The Niger Delta, once plagued by oil spills, has been rehabilitated, and the country has implemented widespread reforestation projects to combat desertification in the north. Nigeria's commitment to green energy and sustainable practices has positioned it as a leader in global environmental initiatives.

Water management and climate adaptation strategies have been crucial in ensuring that the growing population has access to clean water and can withstand the impacts of climate change, such as more frequent and intense droughts or floods.

Culture and Global Influence

Culturally, Nigeria continues to be a global trendsetter. Nollywood, the Nigerian film industry, is not only the largest in Africa but one of the most influential globally, shaping narratives and entertainment across continents. Nigerian music, fashion, and literature remain central to global pop culture.

On the global stage, Nigeria plays a key role in international diplomacy, trade, and security. It is a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council, reflecting its importance in global geopolitics. Nigeria's voice is crucial in addressing issues such as global inequality, climate change, and digital governance.

In summary, Nigeria in 2075 is a vibrant, forward-looking nation that has successfully harnessed its potential, overcoming challenges to become a beacon of progress in Africa and a major player on the world stage.

For some people it isn't always about money. I recall in the early days engaging a number of Somalis on thire website over a disparaging comment one made about preferring death than to do cleaning jobs in the UK as "Nigerians did" according to them.

I recall arguing that at least Nigerians would rather work menial jobs than rely on state welfare or refugee handouts as they did. I was banned.

Someone rubbishing a career made person and favoring toilet cleaner is the dumbest thing i would see here today...for now...Niaralanders can shock you when you least expect it.

Go to any office all over the world and introduce yourself as an ex-bank manager or an-ex toilet cleaner, come back to give us the feedback of the job interview.

By the way, the people who are making big money in UK are office or tech people, not cleaners...

Same here in Nigeria, Bank Managers and tech jobs are paying well...cleaners still get the crumbs

Why are you comparing yourselves to benefit earners ? How much is the benefit that you make it sound like it’s a whole lot?

The benefits are being continually reduced and lot of these people are being pushed to work. As a benefit earner, you can’t even invite anyone from your family in Nigeria to visit you. The visa will be turned down automatically because they are seeing like “beggars” who are being fed by the govt.

Most of these benefits earners are homeless as the govt can’t provide enough housing for them and the landlords do not want them as tenants.

Is it the life of benefits that you want? May you have it then

If you don't serve how then do you expect to make a mark, earn or probably be remembered for. The fashion industry (tailor) serves you, the barber serves you and by so doing make an earning or income. That's why Jesus Christ rightly puts it that he who must be the greatest must be the chief servant. Leave that belief, it'll destroy you. Learn, and earn a skill today so you can make a mark.

This is why urgent 2k gang is rampant nowadays!

Honestly speaking, this is one of the aspects where I rate Nigeria system very low. Things like car loans, mortgage, student loans, etc would have made many Nigerians grow economically and financially more than what we have at the moment.
Using 20 million naira to build a house when mortgage with little interest would do the job and invest such money to make more money

Nigerians cannot even care for their aged parents but go abroad to care for whites all cuz of money. Nigerians don't have discretion anymore. Anything to survive. It's like trading your self worth for money.

Nonsense

Only G and H makes any sense

If you can pay 1000 dollars for electricity in the US then you can afford 24/hrs power in Nigeria
For example, I enjoy 24hrs power supply here and I am not even a multimillionaire

Here in Nigeria fuel is available for people who can pay 800 naira and above without having to queue at the fuel station
I bought fuel yesterday without having to queue and I bought for 850 per liter
While in the USA fuel cost far more than here Nigeria

In the USA if you don’t have health insurance you are going to have to pay heavily through your nose for healthcare. If the amount you pay for insurance is staggering.

How does toilet cleaner eat better food and fruits than a bank manager? What do you consider as better food?

I can keep going and I will cancel all the rubbish you typed up here except G and H!
