Notfogotten:With your toilet cleaner salary, you would live in the worst ghettos where guns go off like alarm clocks. With your minimum wage you won't have time for your children because you would be working 24/7 to pay the bills hence exposing them to gangs living in the worst part of town. Good luck raising kids in such environment. |

pafun:An illegal homeless in California, even a diseased stray dog has more dignity than the present state living conditions in Nigeria, atleast when they collapse on the street, someone takes responsibility of calling EMT for basic resuscitation, the get shelter upon discharge no questions asked and follow up care. In Nigeria, people are slaughtered like cows and communities move on as if it nothing happened. A cleaner don't have to buy a million dollar house like a Registered Nurse, there low income 2-3 bedroom houses, you seems to have a grudge with the West 😆 🤣 😂, probably a deporte or u been denied visa multiple times, kpele |

Gerrard59:Totally agree. Digressing a bit from the line of argument, the pressures a BM or other top professionals face in Nigeria is different from that of a Janitor abroad. BM in 9ja for example faces immense pressure to deliver on business targets. Janitor abroad on the other hand faces pressure from physical work stress to keep up/improve status and living conditions by working several jobs/long hours. Which of these contexts do you think creates greater pressure and therefore worse mental health? |

Notfogotten:Toilet cleaner in the west, A.K.A slave. Sure, all those things that you mentioned above are true but a toilet cleaner will live "from hand to mouth" in the west, in fact, most will be drowning in debt. In Nigeria, if you have your head on straight and you work hard, you can actually progress, but in the west, a toilet cleaner will remain a toilet cleaner for the rest of his life, that's why it's known as a "dead-end job" over there. |

steeltrust:From everything you layed out, it’s glaring you not even living the American dream. Cos you still entitled to government benefits and programs, but you comparing yourself to a bank manager to Nigeria. Now try to do everything a bank manager does in Nigeria. Build a house, get an average of 3 cars, enroll your kids in private schools, and do without government programs like Medicaid or free tuition. Get a maid and a gateman, and relocate to a highbrow area. Always note that, a bank manager in Nigeria works all those things out with his pay. ……..You can see that comparison does not make sense? |

nony43:The toilet cleaner cannot even afford a decent home in all the major cities abroad. They can't afford to travel back home to see their family. How can such person even go on vacations? Being surrounded by wealth doesn't automatically make you rich. |

EcoNews:Let me shock you.. A BIG FAT YES. in the UK some cleaners work just during weekends and some just selected days of the week. And another shocker, they work just for few hours. Guess what, after they spend like odogwu, they will stlll be able to save over 1M naira Naija money. But you see those cleaners in NHS hospitals, they are raking money like no man business. Don't play. |

steeltrust:I am giving you facts and what you know. Are saying there is no fraud in the US too? How did Nancy Oelosi become so rich? How did Lauren Boebert become a millionaire is a short term in senate? The pentagon has not been able to defend its spending in last 5 years. So let’s exclude fraud and corruption, it plays out everywhere. If you must compare both, you must fully compare it! I am sure you hear about the fraud that happened in Amazon? It’s not the only one, just the one that was exposed. Fraud and corruption is everywhere. |

Poor people talking D. A toilet cleaner has access to excellent Medicare. Can the toilet cleaner afford it ? Lol 😝 because if they have excellent Medicare those countries you mention citizens won’t be going to Mexico, Brazil and Turkey for world standard healthcare. E. A toilet cleaner is less likely exposed to armed robbers because they have nothing of valuable once you have nothing of value you are worthless 😝. F. A toilet cleaner eats better food and fruits than your bank manager. I don’t know eating burger 🍔 and cheese 🧀 is healthy. . Can toilet cleaner afford Caviar? |

pafun:Looks like i touched a nerve there, Pls keep far away, your kind will continue to vote incompetence over progress, don't quote me again if you can't stand facts, Nigeria needs help and it starts by accepting it before proferring solutions, yes, I said it, some stray dogs here have thousands of dollar tag when safely found and returned, how much does live cost in Nigeria |

Emetex22:Shut up there! I have been long enough on Nairaland to know empty vessels make the most noise. Which nerve you touch ? I don't believe you live in US and I don't have to join issues with you. Here in Georgia where I live, stray dogs go to dog shelter and are killed if nobody claims them after a certain period. I have lived in Los angeles and know that people are not just give "shelter" and follow up healthcare. They end up on Skid Row or become one of the thousands living in tents the streets. Same in most of the US cities. You don't live in US Bro...and your English grammar is atrocious. Continue to fantasize from your face me I slap you in Dopemu. It will eventually catch up with you ![]() |

pafun:I said it, nerve touchee 😆 🤣 😂, I have been on nairaland yen yen yen, I have lived in LA yen yen, I touched a nerve and it caused you to rant 😆 🤣 😂 😹, typical of people of your little mind. Atleast you see how the dogs are put under, do you know how criminals are treated while alive in Nigeria, if you truly live in GA as claimed and see how the system run, even though not perfect and still have the same mentality, then your education was a waste if you had any and I feel bad for your circles, sorry |

pafun:I live in Bay area California and a Med Surgical Nurse, 😆 🤣 😂, I was an Industrial Chemist before emigrating to the US way back 😆 🤣, I am telling you, if you have struggled in Nigeria and see how the West run their system and don't get angry with ur politicians, then you are worse than a bandit. Even a herdsmen will turn new leaf if given a chance for a fresh start over here, move away mugu, California is not heaven and have homeless problems lol, but you can't even discriminate when they ask for services, ooh sorry you can't comprehend that mugu |
